  • Patent number: 9138672
Abstract: A fluidizing plate is provided. The fluidizing plate generates a fluidization layer accommodating a dustlike bulk material, having a high operating temperature range and high permissible differential pressure relative to the thickness of the fluidizing plate, a support plate which carries the filter material and has through holes. Particular designs of the filter material feature metallic filtration fabric with or without support fabric, sintered metal, and sintered plastic, in each case with a filter fineness of 5 ?m to 1000 ?m. Particular designs of the fluidizing plate feature the disposition of a central through hole for the shaft of a stirrer mechanism, and an opening for the emptying of the fluidization vessel.

  • Publication number: 20140076211
Abstract: A burner is provided for gasifying powdered fuel with a free oxygen-containing oxidant at temperatures up to 1900° C. and pressures up to 10 MPa. The burner includes a powder burner part having an oxidant channel and a powdered fuel channel, and a central pilot burner part. An annular channel for the outflow of an inert medium is arranged at the burner mouth between the pilot burner part and the powder burner part.

  • Publication number: 20140069069
Abstract: A gas feed element is provided. In the gas feed element for feeding gas into a dust-like loose material having a high permissible differential pressure in respect of the thickness of the gas feed element and a high operating temperature range, a support plate having openings (holes) is arranged on the side of the filter material facing the gas flow and on the side of the filter material facing away from the gas flow. The gas feed element permits rapid pressurization of a pressure vessel containing a stock of coal dust. Particular configurations of the filter material are provided by metallic filtration mesh with or without support mesh, sintered metal and sintered polymer, in each case having a filter fineness of from 5 ?m to 1000 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20040265759
Abstract: A process and a device for monitoring the imperviousness of a radiant tube fired by a gas burner is disclosed. From a burner control a burner signal is derived that may have at least the states BURNER OFF when the burner is switched off and BURNER ON when the burner is switched on. In addition, the exhaust gas flow of the burner is monitored and an exhaust gas signal is derived there from which may at least have the states EXHAUST GAS OFF when there is no sufficient volume flow of exhaust gas flowing out of the radiant tube, and EXHAUST GAS ON when there is a correctly flowing exhaust gas. The burner signal and the exhaust gas signal are linked with each other for outputting a failure signal in case the combination BURNER ON and EXHAUST GAS OFF results.

  • Patent number: 4521139
Abstract: A method of adjusting the mass stream and flow density of a finely divided, fine-grained solid fuel is described. The method uses a dosing container having a fluidized bed at its bottom part and into which the solid fuel is charged above the fluidized bed. A fluidizing gas is adjustably fed to the bottom part of the container and a compensation gas is fed to the upper part of the latter. Mass stream parameters and density are measured in the discharge or supply pipe communicating with the fluidizing bed and the required weight of flow of the fluidizing gas is computed by a computer. In this manner, the regulation of the mass stream is effected by adjusting the loose density of the charge of the dusty material in the container.
