  • Patent number: 5383086
Abstract: In a system for triggering an inductive consumer, particularly a consumer for controlling an internal combustion engine, the consumer is coupled via a circuit element to a voltage source. A control means triggers the circuit element in the switching mode for a preselected ON duration. Furthermore, means are provided for measuring the current flowing through the inductive consumer. To measure an actual current value, a first current value is measured shortly after the closing operation, and a second current value is measured immediately before the opening operation.

  • Patent number: 5251598
Abstract: A system for regulating the idling speed of an internal combustion engine, in particular a self-ignitable internal-combustion engine, includes a controller that has at least one integral component and one differential component. The response characteristic of the controller is able to be influenced dependent upon at least one operating parameter of the internal-combustion engine. The integral component is able to be influenced dependent upon an output variable of the differential component. Correction values, which define the response characteristic of the differential component, are dependent upon at least the rotational speed and the gas-pedal position.
