  • Publication number: 20240087589
Abstract: Examples of the disclosure relate to apparatus, methods and computer programs for spatial processing audio scenes with improved intelligibility for speech or other key sounds. In examples of the disclosure at least one audio signal including two or more channels is obtained. The audio signal is processed with program code to identify at least a first portion of the audio signal wherein the first portion predominantly includes audio of interest. The first portion is processed using a first process. The second portion is processed using a second process including spatial audio processing. The first process includes no spatial audio processing or a low level of spatial audio processing compared to the second process and the second portion predominantly includes a remainder. The processed first portion and second portion can be played back using two or more loudspeakers.

  • Patent number: 6406287
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for forming fibre balls out of elongated fibres carried in an air flow. The device contains a stator chamber (1) which is fixed to a frame and which has a circular cross section, and coaxially within it there is arranged a rotor (2), also having a circular cross section, and being rotatable around its shaft (3), whereby the rotor has on its periphery a plurality of radial blades (12, 12′) at mutual peripheral distances and at a short distance from the inner wall (1′) of the stator (1) in order to form an annular intermediate space (14) extending over the axial length of the rotor between the inner wall (1′) of the stator (1) and the blades (12, 12′) of the rotor (2).

  • Patent number: 5587121
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for the moulding of a part from a gas-pervious raw material compound in a gas-pervious mould (14). The mould is positioned in flow chamber (10) in such a way that the gas flowing through the flow chamber is also caused to flow through the mould. A gas-pervious filling material chamber (16, 18) filled with filling material (26) is positioned in front of and/or behind the mould, which filling chamber brings about a desired, for instance an equally large, pressure drop over the "package" (12) formed by the mould and the filling material chamber along the whole cross-sectional area of the flow chamber. The invention also relates to the product produced by the method.

  • Patent number: 5378296
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the production of formed parts for use as pads in seats, for instance. The object is to provide a new apparatus with a different operating principle by means of which formed parts in which the density of the padding is uniform can be produced. The apparatus according to the invention comprises devices known per se for opening padding raw material into a desired looseness and for transporting it into a weighing device and for transferring the weighed batch of padding material into a filling chamber by means of a suction created by a vacuum pressure acting on the filling chamber.

  • Patent number: 4843685
Abstract: The invention relates to a card for the production of a nonwoven fabric web. The object is to provide a new card enabling a high production rate and the manufacturing to be interrupted without any breaks in the web itself. The card comprises e.g. three main rolls (12, 17, 20), whereby slower transfer rolls (15, 16; 18, 19) acting as working rolls as well are provided between said main rolls. At least one flatting roll (23) is provided after the last main roll (20), from which roll (23) the fibers are advantageously transferred onto a conveyor wire (29) by means of an aspiration roller (28), said wire passing the fiber material web to further treatment.
