Publication number: 20240176090Abstract: Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to a cable sealing structure comprising a cable sealing body including a gel and methods of making anisotropic behavior in cable sealing structures made with a dry silicone gel. In one aspect, various three-dimensional printing techniques are used to make a cable sealing structure that includes a gel. The cable sealing body has a construction that elastically deforms to apply an elastic spring load to the gel. The cable sealing body has a construction with anisotropic deformation characteristics that allows the cable sealing body to be less deformable in one direction than in others. The cable sealing structure can be utilized to seal fiber optic cables more uniformly while limiting the potential of leakage.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2023Publication date: May 30, 2024Applicants: CommScope Technologies LLC, CommScope Connectivity Belgium BVBAInventors: Christiaan RADELET, Thierry Mike DECLERCK, Gary William ADAMS, Matthew Peter GALLA, Roel Modest Willy BRYON, Dirk KEMPENEERS, Robert VANHENTENRIJK, Danny Willy August VERHEYDEN, David Thomas BROWN, Michael MARIS, Julian S. Publication number: 20240069948Abstract: Mapping of applications by the most common file path in which they are installed or found to be running. Embodiments of the disclosure may determine the most commonly occurring hash values appearing in events generated by a virtualized network. These most commonly occurring hash values may correspond to the hash values of file paths associated with the greatest number of detected events. The database may then be queried to determine the most commonly occurring file path for each of these hash values. A table of such most commonly occurring file paths and their associated hash values may then be compiled and stored. Use of the most commonly occurring file path in lieu of an alert's actual file path may prevent undesired or malicious processes from going undetected by simply adopting a new file path that has yet to be recognized as being associated with undesired behavior.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: VMware, Inc.Inventors: Alexander Julian THOMAS, Amit CHOPRA, Anjali MANGAL, Xiaosheng WU, Ereli ERAN

Publication number: 20160331646Abstract: A tube for delivering fluid to a remote location not normally in view or not practicably able to be viewed by an operator placing such tubes. The tube comprising a lumen connecting a fluid input aperture, disposed at a proximal end of the tube, and a fluid output aperture, to deliver fluid therebetween. The tube further comprises positioning means having an optical waveguide and sensor means. The optical waveguide extends from the proximal end of the tube to the sensor means. The optical waveguide guides an input optical signal to the sensor means. Positioning of the sensor means in a desired location within a system varies the properties of the input optical signal to provide a predetermined output optical signal, which is guided to the proximal end of the tube to indicate to a user, placement of the predetermined portion of the tube at the desired position within the system.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventor: Sean Julian Thomas
