  • Patent number: 11468473
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for implementing electronically generated promotion deployment is provided. The method includes receiving electronic data comprising shipment identification for a shipment of an item from a shipping client to a recipient. A profile is generated for the recipient and a further client associated with a freight carrier is authorized to generate visible promotional structures associated with packages for delivery by the freight carrier. Promotional attributes from the further client are cross referenced with respect to a package comprising the item for the recipient. The cross referencing may include matching demographic profiles, of recipients of pending delivery packages, to additional profiles selected by a promotional entity for each pending delivery package. A visible promotional structure associated with the promotional attributes is generated and presented during delivery of the package.

  • Patent number: 10542826
Abstract: A method and system enabling delivery of a sleep therapy type is provided. The method includes receiving a value of a parameter measured by physical sensors while a mammal is in contact with a first subset of the physical sensors. A second subset of the physical sensors, whose received value differs from a predetermined reference value of an environmental parameter, is determined. A physical part subset of the second subset, corresponding to a specified body part, is determined by utilizing the second subset and virtual data for identifying virtual sensors spatially distributed to map a space occupied by the mammal's body parts. In response, a therapy device positioned in sufficiently close proximity to the specified body part to effectively deliver the specified therapy type to the specified body part is determined and a control signal is generated and transmitted to the therapy device.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product for performing valuation of the stock market, stocks and gold is provided according to a unified method and shared underlying economic data and expectations. At least one asset characteristic (e.g, asset valuation) of each asset of the least one asset is computed. The at least one asset characteristic is a function of a portion of the economic data underlying the valuation method. The computed at least one asset characteristic is transferred to a tangible medium. The said computing may result in at least one of a purchase or sale of an asset, a calculation of a portfolio structure, a calculation of an expected return of an asset or portfolio or portion thereof.

  • Patent number: 10198756
Abstract: A method and associated e-commerce system for dynamically repricing an online subscription automatically identify a competing offer that offers a product that is equivalent to a subscribed product. If the competing offer offers a quantity of the equivalent product that is different from a quantity specified by the subscription, or if the competing offer is effective during a period of time that differs from a replenishment period of the subscription, the system automatically reconciles the differences and compares the resulting unit cost of the subscription product to the unit cost of the competing offer product. The system then determines whether it would be more beneficial to the subscriber to reprice a certain number of units of the subscription or to reprice the subscription for a certain period of time, and raises or lowers the price of the subscription accordingly as a function of this determination.

  • Publication number: 20170253381
Abstract: A package compliant with a postal service flats mail class includes at least one flat package substrate comprising a uniform edge thickness about one of a longitudinal dimension and a shorter dimension and configured to be flexible parallel to the one dimension and adapted to receive an integral item parallel to the one dimension. The package also includes an integral item at least one of interleaved within the substrate and wrapped around the substrate parallel to the one dimension and adapted to provide flexibility to the other of the two dimensions based on the interleaving and the wrapping and provide a uniform edge thickness to the other of the two dimensions. Furthermore, a receiving package is structured to receive and secure together the integral item and the flat package substrate and provide a uniform thickness and the uniform edge dimensions and be flexible about both the two dimensions.

  • Patent number: 9275293
Abstract: A method and associated systems for object identification and subsequent processing based on digital imaging and physical attributes. An object-identification system receives, in a materials-handling environment, a digital image and physical attributes that characterize an unidentified object. An attempt is made to identify the object by matching the image and attributes to those of known objects stored in an image database, an attribute database, or another external source. The object is associated with a label that identifies the actual object, associates the object with a similar object that may be substituted for the actual object in a desired application, or designates the object as unidentifiable. The digital image, label, and external sources used to identify the object may be updated by associating them with metadata gathered during the identification process. Subsequent processing is governed by business rules that operate as functions of the label data.
