  • Patent number: 7408729
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the storage and/or retrieval of information on magnetic storage media by using one or more novel approaches alone or in combination. These novel approaches are capable of using at least one code which may comprise more than two values (i.e., more than a “0” and a “1”). A series of approaches applies generally to existing electric and/or magnetic storage/retrieval systems (e.g., magnetic, magneto-optic, etc.) as well as other novel electrical/magnetic systems. Each series of approaches is capable of storing information in one or more codes, wherein such approaches permit, if desired, the use of at least one higher order code which is different from the traditional binary code of “0's” and “1's” currently utilized for the storage of digital information.

  • Patent number: 6928181
Abstract: The present invention is a biometric recognition method and system for identifying humans and animals with acoustic scanning techniques. The invention is based upon transmitting acoustic energy through an external accessible surface to non-visible internal tissue having a unique distinguishing characteristic. A master representative pattern of the unique distinguishing characteristic is produced by the interaction of an acoustic energy beam with discontinuities and inhomogeneities within the non-visible internal tissue. The master representative pattern is used for reference and compared to a current representative pattern formed upon each attempted reentry into the system.

  • Patent number: 6898299
Abstract: A method and apparatus for authenticating an individual living organism by recognizing a unique internal electric and/or magnetic and/or acoustic characteristic, which comprises a biometric signature, involve presenting a body part to a sensing device that senses the signature. The sensed presented biometric signature is compared to a known biometric signature to authenticate the individual. This authentication can then be used to authorize any of a wide variety of actions by the individual, such as accessing equipment or an area, or to perform actions, such as conducting financial transactions. A card having sensors is used to sense the biometric signature which is read by a card reader and sent to a local or remote reader for biometric signature comparison.

  • Publication number: 20040151957
Abstract: This invention relates to novel methods for affecting, controlling and/or directing various reactions and/or reaction pathways or systems by exposing one or more components in a holoreaction system to at least one spectral energy pattern. In a first aspect of the invention, at least one spectral energy pattern can be applied to a reaction system. In a second aspect of the invention, at least one spectral energy conditioning pattern can be applied to a conditioning reaction system. The spectral energy conditioning pattern can, for example, be applied at a separate location from the reaction vessel (e.g., in a conditioning reaction vessel) or can be applied in (or to) the reaction vessel, but prior to other reaction system participants being introduced into the reaction vessel.

Abstract: This invention relates to a novel method to affect, control and/or direct a reaction pathway (e.g., organic, inorganic, biologic or other reaction) by, for example, exposing one or more participants in a reaction system to at least one spectral energy pattern (e.g., at least one spectral pattern comprising at least one frequency of electromagnetic radiation) which can be op made to correspond to at least a portion of a spectral catalyst or a spectral energy catalyst. The invention also relates to mimicking various mechanisms of action of various catalysts in reaction systems under various environment reaction conditions. The invention fiber discloses methods for simulating at least partially, one or more environmental reaction conditions by the application of one or more spectral environmental reason conditions. The invention specifically discloses different means for achieving the matching of energy frequencies between, for example, applied energy and matter (e.g.

  • Patent number: 6507662
Abstract: A method and apparatus for biometric recognition of an individual living organism uses electric and/or magnetic or acoustic energy. A biometric recognition system measures at least one bio-electrical and/or biomagnetic property to recognize of an individual living organism's identity. In one embodiment, an individual's hand is tested to provide a ratio of internal electric and/or magnetic properties of the fingers. This provides a biometric signature that is placed in memory for later comparison with a measured ratio of a presented hand to validate the individual's identity. The method and apparatus can be used to enable operation of a computer, or provide secure communication between an individual at a first location and a second location.

  • Publication number: 20020031814
Abstract: A wide variety of reactions can be advantageously affected and directed by a spectral catalyst which duplicates the electromagnetic energy spectral pattern of a physical catalyst and when applied to a reaction system transfers a quanta of energy in the form of electromagnetic energy to control and/or promote the reaction system. The spectral catalysts utilized in this invention can replace and/or augment the energy normally provided to the reaction system by a physical catalyst. A spectral catalyst may also act as both a positive catalyst to increase the rate of a reaction or as a negative catalyst to decrease the rate of reaction.

  • Patent number: 6343140
Abstract: An apparatus for shooting. The apparatus includes a gun. The apparatus includes a controller connected to the gun which controls whether the gun can fire. The apparatus includes a mechanism for determining a present biometric signature of a shooter who desires to fire the gun. The determining mechanism is in communication with the controller. The controller only allows the gun to fire if the present biometric signature of the shooter is recognized by the controller. A method for firing a gun. The method includes the steps of gripping a handle of a gun by a shooter. Then there is the step of recognizing a present biometric signature of the shooter. Next there is the step of releasing a trigger of the gun so the gun can fire as long as the biometric signature of the shooter is recognized.

  • Patent number: 6336045
Abstract: A method and apparatus use induced currents to determine an individual's bone integrity. The apparatus induces a current into an individual's bone then detects resultant electromagnetic signals using a galvanometer or other sensing mechanism. Circuits within the apparatus store and modify these signals to obtain a unique characteristic profile. To determine if the individual has bone defects, this profile is compared with stored profiles normally associated with bone fractures, breaks, and other defects.
