  • Publication number: 20230394172
Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for managing digital assets (DAs). An example method includes: establishing, by one or more server devices, a personal DA library having DAs and related DA records, each of the DA records including a set of fields including a master record of a respective DA; establishing, by the one or more server devices, a shared DA library separate from the personal DA library; receiving, by the one or more server devices, a share DA instruction related to a particular DA in the personal DA library; transferring a first part of the DA record for the particular DA from the personal DA library to the shared DA library, the first part including the master record; and, after completing said transferring, maintaining a second part of the DA record for the particular DA in the personal DA library, wherein the second part does not include the master record.

  • Publication number: 20150350371
Abstract: Methods and arrangements are provided for managing, caching and optimizing a media file library on a user device and a cloud media library in a cloud storage space. Once media files are created and stored on the user device, they are uploaded to the cloud storage space. A caching and optimizing strategy is then employed both on the device and the cloud storage space, according to a set of optimization rules. The rules relate to efficiently managing the storage limitations on both the device and the cloud space as needed. Original media files and their cached versions can be dynamically assigned to be automatically deleted from the user device in favor of being uploaded to the cloud space, as device storage space becomes limited. These media files and their cached versions can be automatically re-downloaded from the cloud space to the user device when a user or application requires them.

  • Publication number: 20130321267
Abstract: A software keyboard is provided with a dedicated key (dynamic character key) for inputting a character, where the character associated with the key is determined based upon a context and may dynamically change according to the context. For example, a first character may be dynamically determined and associated with the dedicated key for a first context and a second character, possibly different from the first character, may be selected and associated with the dedicated key for a different context. The character that is associated with the dynamic character key may also be displayed on the dynamic character key. In some embodiments, the character associated with the dynamic character key may be a non-alphanumeric character such as a diacritical mark, a punctuation mark, and the like.
