  • Publication number: 20210239576
Abstract: Methods are described of monitoring or supervising objects, particularly non-communicating objects. A detector for detecting complex states of objects is described, the detector comprising an analyzer configured to determine an object-related complex state depending on recognition of a least one sound emitted by the object. The recognized sound allows the detector to determine the complex state of an object. This complex state of the object may include an abnormal operating state of the object or a state of the object that is not related to its operation. For example, the complex state of the object may include its position on a surface, in a volume, or the identity of the person having handled the object.

  • Patent number: 10978092
Abstract: The present invention relates to the management of devices (AP1, AP2, AP3) connected to an equipment item (EQ) in an environment (ENV). The equipment item receives and interprets signals from the environment (S1, S2, S3) and, based on an interpretation of the signals, transmits adjustment instructions (C1, C2, C3) to the devices. In particular, there is provided a sound sensor (ANT) connected to the equipment item (EQ), and one or more mechanical members (OM1, OM2) which when actuated for the purpose of adjusting at least one of the devices, causes the emission of a characteristic sound (S1, S2). The equipment item, upon receiving these sound signals from the environment, compares each sound signal to acoustic signatures predefined in a correlation table (TAB) which lists adjustment instructions (C1, C2, . . . ) according to these acoustic signatures (S1, S2; S1, S3, S4; . . .

  • Patent number: 10802684
Abstract: A method for managing a remote electronic device using an electronic device. A database associates argument types with alternative argument values and includes a compatibility mesh between the alternative argument values for a given type and contextual data. The method includes: upon reception of a first user input, detecting at least one argument type in the first user input and contextual data; retrieving from the database the alternative argument values corresponding to the detected argument type; outputting a graphical instruction, the graphical instruction comprising a selectable element representing the detected argument type; upon detection of a second user input on the selectable element for selection of an alternative argument value, outputting retrieved alternative argument values being filtered using the compatibility mesh and the contextual data; and upon selection of one argument value, providing an instruction to the remote electronic device based on the selected argument value.

  • Patent number: 10466870
Abstract: A method for managing a remote electronic device using a user interface on an electronic device. The electronic device is operatively connected to a database which associates, for each given device identifier, alternative argument values and graphical elements. The method includes: receiving a user input through the user interface on the electronic device; determining a first device identifier based on the user input; accessing the database to retrieve a first graphical element associated with a first alternative argument value of the first device identifier, the first alternative argument value matching the user input; and rendering the user input by outputting the retrieved first graphical element.

  • Publication number: 20190196669
Abstract: A user interface and method operating according to a conversational menu with interaction between a user and a device. The conversational menu includes at least one question and answer heading corresponding to a question posed to the user via the interface and waiting for an answer from the user via the interface. the method includes: combining with this question-and-answer heading at least one informative content to help the user, related to the question-and-answer heading; and during execution of the question-and-answer heading: detecting receiving through the interface a user help request signal with predefined form; and, as needed providing the user through the interface the informative content before waiting for the user's response.

  • Publication number: 20130311919
Abstract: An electronic device includes a display screen; and a graphical user interface displayed on the screen and including: a graphical object automatically movable, in accordance with a predefined movement, along at least part of the screen, wherein the automatic movement of the graphical object is triggered in response to a user input; the predefined movement being such that the graphical object is translated in a first direction from a first region of the screen to a second region of the screen. Movement from the first region to the second region indicates a user command being validated. The device further includes a sensor configured to detect the movement of the graphical object from the first region to the second region; and an application processor configured to execute the user command in response to detection of the movement of the graphical object from the first region to the second region.

  • Publication number: 20110048480
Abstract: Device for reducing the wind resistance of the protective fabric, particularly of a parasol of the type mainly including a pole, a protective fabric, and a supporting frame having stiff ribs connected, via one end thereof and by means of a hinge, to the top portion of the pole, each rib being connected, by a connecting rod or brace and hinges, to a socket or annular block-slideably mounted along said. The device is characterized in that fabric freely rests on the ribs, at least on the distal portion of the latter, and in that a flexible slat capable of elastic deformation in the vertical plane and connected to the fabric is placed on the top side of each rib, in the vertical plane and along the latter, said flexible slats being attached to the ribs at a point remote from the distal end of the latter.
