  • Publication number: 20220329199
Abstract: A solar panel support arranged for supporting a solar panel under an angle (A) relative to a ground surface. The solar panel support including a frame arranged for removably holding the solar panel; a ballast that is removably attached to the frame; a foot arrangement that is connected to the frame and arranged for providing a foot of the foot arrangement in a plurality of angular positions relative to the frame for positioning the frame under a corresponding plurality of angles relative to the ground surface, wherein the foot arrangement at least partly bounds, in use, a space (s) between the ground surface and the frame such that, in use, an air flow (AF) is guided over a side of the frame that is turned away from the ground surface. An assembly including the solar panel support.

  • Publication number: 20070156761
Abstract: A database server contains pointers to useful information, such as on the World Wide Web. Users of the server may have hypertext links added automatically into documents they submit. Users may additionally contribute to the link database, thereby extending it, and may add additional qualifying information pertaining to the links.

  • Publication number: 20060122839
Abstract: A method for recognizing an audio sample locates an audio file that most closely matches the audio sample from a database indexing a large set of original recordings. Each indexed audio file is represented in the database index by a set of landmark timepoints and associated fingerprints. Landmarks occur at reproducible locations within the file, while fingerprints represent features of the signal at or near the landmark timepoints. To perform recognition, landmarks and fingerprints are computed for the unknown sample and used to retrieve matching fingerprints from the database. For each file containing matching fingerprints, the landmarks are compared with landmarks of the sample at which the same fingerprints were computed. If a large number of corresponding landmarks are linearly related, i.e., if equivalent fingerprints of the sample and retrieved file have the same time evolution, then the file is identified with the sample.

  • Patent number: 5029509
Abstract: A musical sound analyzer and synthesizer uses a model that considers a sound to be composed of two types of elements: a deterministic component plus a stochastic component. The deterministic component is represented as a series of sinusoids, with an amplitude and a frequency function for each sinusoid. The stochastic component is represented as a series of magnitude spectral envelopes. From this representation, sounds can be synthesized that, in the absence of modifications, can behave as perceptual identities, that is, they are perceptually equal to the original sound. In addition, stored representations of sounds can be easily modified in a musical synthesizer to create a wide variety of new sounds.
