    Abstract: A method of making a strengthened article that includes: providing an article comprising a glass, glass-ceramic or ceramic composition with a plurality of ion-exchangeable alkali metal ions, a first primary surface and a second primary surface; forming a SiO2-containing film over the first primary surface, wherein the SiO2-containing film comprises a thickness from about 5 nanometers to about 20 nanometers; forming an anti-glare surface integral with the second primary surface; providing a first ion-exchange bath comprising a plurality of ion-exchanging alkali metal ions, each having a larger size than the size of the ion-exchangeable alkali metal ions; and submersing the article in the first ion-exchange bath at a first ion-exchange temperature and duration to form a strengthened article. Further, the strengthened article comprises a compressive stress region extending from the first primary surface and the second primary surface to first and second selected depths, respectively.

    Abstract: A display panel and a preparation method thereof are provided, the display panel includes a substrate, a pixel defining layer and a nano-columnar structure. The method includes a substrate providing step, a coating step, a drying step, a baking step, a cooling step, an exposure step, a developing step, a cleaning step, a high temperature curing step and a dry etching step. Performing a dry etching to the pixel defining layer by a mixed gas of carbon tetrafluoride and argon to form a nano-columnar structure on a surface of the pixel defining layer so that a surface roughness of the pixel defining layer is increased, and a surface lyophobic performance of the pixel defining layer is enhanced. Therefore, a film layer formed after an inkjet printing process has good uniformity and height. In addition, it effectively avoids “ink shrinkage” phenomenon, saves materials, increases productivity, and ensures good display effect.

The product of the disclosure uses a 5V-30V power supply to charge, and mobile phone adapters, portable power supply and other 5V power supply can be used as chargers. It is not limited by the 5V voltage of the traditional power supply, and the range of the input voltage of charging is wide.

In one or more embodiments, the anti-glares substrate includes a textured surface with a plurality of features having an average cross-sectional dimension of about 30 micrometers or less. The substrate or article exhibits a transmission haze of 10% or less, a PPDr of about 7% or less or 6% or less, and a DOI of about 80 or less. Method for forming the anti-glare substrates are also disclosed and include etching a surface of a substrate with an etchant having low water solubility to provide an etched surface, and removing a portion of the etched surface. The method includes generating a plurality of insoluble crystals (e.g., any one or more of K2SiF6 and K3AlF6) on the surface while etching the surface. The etchant may include a potassium salt, an organic solvent and a fluoride containing acid.
