  • Patent number: 11830987
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrolyte detection device. The electrolyte detection device comprises: a contamination detection plate configured to contact any one surface of a secondary battery, in which an opening is provided; first and second conductors provided to be spaced apart from each other so that current does not flow on a surface of the contamination detection plate, the first and second conductors being electrically connected to each other by an electrolyte leaking from the opening of the secondary battery; a power member comprising a positive electrode connected to the first conductor and a negative electrode connected to the second conductor; and a contamination detection member configured to detect whether the electrolyte leaks through the current generated when the first conductor and the second conductor are electrically connected to each other.

  • Publication number: 20220416374
Abstract: A method for bending an electrode tab is disclosed herein. The method may include: stacking an electrode and an separator to form an electrode assembly, connecting an electrode lead to an electrode tab protruding from the electrode assembly, primarily bending the electrode tab by moving a bending block disposed at one side of the electrode tab in a first direction directed toward the other side of the electrode tab, and secondarily bending the electrode tab by moving the bending block in a second direction different from the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20220149355
Abstract: The present technology relates to an electrode manufacturing method, an electrode manufactured by the method, and a secondary battery comprising same, the electrode manufacturing method comprising a cleaning step performed by laser irradiation, in lines corresponding to each other in a direction perpendicular to an electrode current collector, onto a top-coated electrode mixture layer and a back-coated electrode mixture layer of the electrode current collector, and may prevent a mismatch of the electrode mixture layers and may significantly reduce the degree of sliding occurrence at the boundary region.
