    Abstract: A systems and methods for tracking a position of an electrode. The system may include: a notching controller configured to store pitch information of a unit electrode and to acquire electrode coordinate information of the electrode in a roll-to-roll state during a notching process and a cell identification (ID) of the unit electrode; a calculator configured to calculate coordinates of the cell ID from the pitch information and the cell ID; a roll map generator configured to generate a roll map based on the electrode coordinate information transmitted from the notching controller; and a mapping part configured to compare the coordinates of the roll map with the coordinates of the cell ID to derive an electrode position of the electrode during the electrode manufacturing process from which the unit electrode originates.

    Abstract: An apparatus for generating a roll map of a merge-wound electrode includes a position measurement device configured to acquire coordinate value data for a longitudinal position of an electrode according to an amount of rotation of the rewinder. The apparatus includes an input device configured to input an input signal indicating a start of merge-winding or an end of merge-winding, a seam detector configured to detect a seam, a reference point detector configured to detect a plurality of reference points of the merge-wound electrode, and a roll map generator configured to generate a roll map for simulating the merge-wound electrode moving in a roll-to-roll state based on the input signal of the input device, and to display the longitudinal coordinate values of the electrode, the electrode coordinate values of the seam, and the electrode coordinate values of the plurality of reference points of the merge-wound electrode on the roll map.

    Abstract: An electrode slurry lot information tracking management system for managing lot information of electrode slurry when the electrode slurry is transferred from a mixer to a coater. The system includes a plurality of tanks connected between the mixer and the coater through a pipe. The pipe is configured to transfer the electrode slurry supplied from the mixer to the coater. The system further includes a controller. The controller identifies the lot information of the electrode slurry. The controller allocates and records the lot information of the electrode slurry supplied to each of the plurality of tanks. The controller determines electrode slurry lot information of a final supply tank that supplies the electrode slurry to the coater based on a history of the lot information recorded for each of the plurality of tanks.

    Abstract: A roll map of an electrode coating process includes a roll map bar and a representation part. The roll map bar is displayed on a screen in synchronization with movement of an electrode between an unwinder and a rewinder while being coated with an electrode slurry in a roll-to-roll state. The roll map bar is displayed in the form of a bar by simulating the electrode in the roll-to-roll state. The representation part is configured to visually show either one of or both quality-related and defect-related acquired data associated with the electrode coating process. The acquired data is shown at a certain location on the roll map bar corresponding to a location in the electrode at which the data is measured.     Abstract: An electrode loss measuring apparatus includes an electrode which moves in a roll-to-roll state between an unwinder and a rewinder and on which a plurality of reference points are marked at predetermined intervals . The apparatus further includes a reference point detector configured to detect the reference points marked on the electrode, a position measurer configured to derive a position value of the electrode according to a rotation amount of the unwinder or the rewinder and a position value of the corresponding reference point in conjunction with the reference point detector when the reference point detector detects the reference point, and a calculator configured to calculate a loss amount of the electrode by comparing the derived position value of the reference point with a position value of a set reference point when an interval between the reference points is changed due to a loss of a portion of the electrode.
