  • Patent number: 10591402
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a technology for more easily and accurately extracting overall cell regions from a cell morphological image. To achieve the object, first, an acquiring unit acquires a region-identifiable image for identifying a first cell region occupied by a specific portion of a cell in the cell morphological image capturing a shape of the cell using a first display element. Then, an adding unit adds, to the region-identifiable image, a second display element that identifies at least an outline portion of a second cell region occupied by a specific portion different from the first cell region in the cell morphological image depending on a predetermined signal set in advance and input in response to a user's operation.

  • Patent number: 10094767
Abstract: Image processor quantifies a specific biological material in a region of interest of a sample stained with a first staining reagent capable of staining the biological material and stained with a second staining reagent capable of staining a specific region of a cell without interfering with staining with the first staining reagent. A first input means inputs a first image showing the position of expression of the biological material stained with the first staining reagent; a second input means inputs a second image acquired in the same field of view as the first image and shows the morphology of the specific region of the cell stained with the second staining reagent; second image specific region extraction means extracts the specific region from the second image; and derivation means derives the region of interest based on at least the second image undergoing extraction of the specific region among the first and second image.

  • Patent number: 6389234
Abstract: There is described a camera incorporating a focal-plane shutter. The camera includes a lens, an image window having an aperture to bound a light coming through the lens in a plain perpendicular to an optical axis of the lens, a focal-plane shutter and a photometry sensor to receive the light reflected by the focal-plain shutter and detect an amount of the light reflected by the focal-plane shutter after coming through the lens. In the camera, the photometry sensor is located at an outside of the aperture and resides on a plane, which is parallel with the optical axis and includes a line which is parallel to a long-axis of the aperture and passes substantially a center of a short-axis of the aperture.

  • Patent number: 5995204
Abstract: A photographic film scanner which includes: a carrier receiver section for receiving one of: (a) the first film carrier having an accommodation section, for accommodating a cartridge in which a rolled film is enclosed, and a conveying mechanism, for conveying the rolled film; and (b) the second film carrier for holding a film. The photographic film scanner further includes a scanner for reading image information from one of the rolled film, accommodated in the cartridge, and the film, held by the second film carrier; a detector for detecting a load of the first film carrier and the second film carrier into the carrier receiver; a contact point for electrically connecting the carrier receiver section and the first film carrier; and a discrimination circuit for automatically discriminating between the first film carrier and the second film carrier by sending electric signals through the contact point when the detector detects the load of one of the first film carrier and the second film carrier.
