Patent number: 11931936Abstract: In an injection process, molten resin is successively injected from a first flow channel and a second flow channel connected with each other in order into a cavity of a metal mold. High-temperature resin existing in the first flow channel is injected in advance into the cavity as a part of a single shot of molten resin to later form a skin layer of a molded article. Other low temperature resin near a flowable limit existing in the second flow channel is subsequently injected into the cavity as another part of the single shot of molten resin to later form a core layer of the molded article. A low temperature resin remaining in the first flow channel when injection is completed is warmed to be a high-temperature resin before the next cycle, thereby allowing successive molding of molded articles.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Tohru Higuchi, Masato Ichikawa, Tsuyoshi Arai, Jun Hasebe, Atsushi Kawamura, Tomoyoshi Murata

Patent number: 9864022Abstract: The present invention is to provide a structure that can effectively reduce quench in an open superconducting magnet. In order to do so, a pair of superconducting magnets is respectively provided with a primary coil, a shield coil to suppress a leakage magnetic field of the primary coil, and a coil bobbin. The coil bobbin has a cylindrical part on which the primary coil is wound, a ring-shaped end plate on which the inner periphery part is fixed to an end of the imaging space side of the cylindrical part, and a support member preventing the outer periphery part of the ring-shaped end plate from being displaced on the imaging space side. Hence, deformation of the end plate is suppressed to prevent deformation of the primary coil. This can reduce quench caused by the deformation of the primary coil.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2013Date of Patent: January 9, 2018Assignee: HITACHI, LTD.Inventors: Hiroyuki Watanabe, Jun Kawamura, Kunihiro Takayama, Kazuyuki Suzuki, Yousuke Nishikawa

Patent number: 9708987Abstract: The density of fuel being used by a compression-ignition engine and the flammability of the fuel (readiness to ignite when injected into a combustion chamber of the engine, under the current operating conditions of the engine) are respectively detected. When the flammability is excessively low and the density is above a threshold value, the oxygen concentration of the intake air supplied to the cylinders is increased until the flammability reaches a reference condition, while when the flammability is excessively low and the density is below the threshold value, the compression ratio of the engine (and/or each pilot injection amount) is increased until the flammability reaches the reference condition.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2014Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Masayuki Suzuki, Hideo Naruse, Jun Kawamura, Koji Ishizuka

Patent number: 9546614Abstract: A fuel property detection apparatus detects fuel properties based on cetane number and density of a tested fuel. Tested fuel is examined in terms of ignition timing, and, when the tested fuel has an ignition timing earlier than a threshold, the tested fuel is identified as having a standard cetane number. When the tested fuel has an ignition timing later than the threshold, the tested fuel is identified as having a low cetane number. An advance angle of the ignition timing is increased for yielding a greater ignition timing difference between a light property fuel and a heavy property fuel, and, in such manner, the difference therebetween is detected. When an advancement of the ignition timing is greater than a threshold, the fuel property is identified as heavy, and, when an advancement of the ignition timing is smaller than the threshold, the fuel property is identified as light.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2015Date of Patent: January 17, 2017Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Hideo Naruse, Makoto Mashida, Koji Ishizuka, Jun Kawamura, Masayuki Suzuki

Patent number: 8532912Abstract: An engine control system includes a unit which outputs a command for changing an air-fuel ratio of an exhaust gas, a unit which computes an in-cylinder oxygen concentration, a memory which stores a first value and a second value of parameters (ignition timing, injection pressure, pilot injection quantity). The first value is set in a case that the in-cylinder oxygen concentration is a first oxygen concentration. The second value is set in a case that the in-cylinder oxygen concentration is a second oxygen concentration which is higher than the first oxygen concentration. The values of the parameters are set in such a manner as to correlate to the in-cylinder oxygen concentration of during a transition period of the air-fuel ratio. The values of the parameters are obtained by an interpolation based on the first and the second value of the parameter and the in-cylinder oxygen concentration.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2010Date of Patent: September 10, 2013Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Jun Kawamura, Takahiro Ono
