  • Patent number: 8165464
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus with an AF sensor unit fixed thereto promptly with high precision by a parallax adjustment method. The image pickup apparatus with the AF sensor has a stationary cylinder. The stationary cylinder constitutes an image pickup lens barrel with a first axis and a second axis that are perpendicular to an optical axis of the lens barrel and are perpendicular to each other. An AF sensor holder is configured to hold said AF sensor. An AF sensor holder-mounting unit is mounted on the stationary cylinder through a first axis rotation-adjusting mechanism rotatably with respect to the first axis, and configured to support said AF sensor holder through a second axis rotation-adjusting mechanism rotatably with respect to the second axis. The first axis rotation-adjusting mechanism and the second axis rotation-adjusting mechanism are directed in the same direction at operation sides thereof, respectively.
