Extent input/output information pertaining to an extent on a storage device is received, by a computer, where the extant input/output information includes an access rate of data stored on the extent. The computer determines one or more periods of time where the input/output information exceeds a preconfigured threshold. The computer generates one or more of a first policy and a second policy based on the determined one or more periods where the first policy includes allocating the extent to a high performance disk within a tier storage system when data is stored during the determined periods and the second policy includes reallocating the extent from a low performance disk within the tier storage system to a high performance storage device within the tier storage system during the one or more determined periods.

    Abstract: An imaging probe adapter for measuring the properties of a lumen like the vaginal canal, the rectum, or anal sphincter. The device has an adapter body with a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end of the adapter body may be formed into an insertion tip capable of easy insertion into the appropriate lumenal structure. An inflatable pressure chamber covers the distal end of the adapter body. A baseplate formed on the proximal end of the adapter body incorporates fluid channels for inflating the pressure chamber and a probe channel that receives an ultrasound probe or other suitable imaging probe. The device is used to measure and model lumenal biomechanical properties such as stiffness, compliance, elastic versus viscous contributions to overall stiffness, and total displacement.

Herein, the locating method comprises: a first terminal receiving an included angle value between a current advancing direction of a user and a due north direction, which is sent from a second terminal, wherein the first terminal is provided with a gyroscope, the second terminal is used to calculate the included angle value of the included angle between the current advancing direction and the due north direction according to the current advancing direction input by the user and a due north direction indication diagram, and send the included angle value to the first terminal; and the first terminal using the included angle value to correct an output angle of the gyroscope, so as to locate the first terminal. By the present invention, the directional angle may be accurately determined without using a magnetometer.
