  • Publication number: 20240182258
Abstract: A sheet folding apparatus includes a conveyor, a first folding roller, a second folding roller, a third folding roller, a guide, a motor, and a driving force transmission mechanism. The motor causes the second folding roller to perform either forward rotation in which the second folding roller rotates to convey a sheet on a main conveying path in a conveying direction and to convey the sheet on a reflux conveying path from a joining position toward a branching position or backward rotation in a direction opposite to the forward rotation. The driving force transmission mechanism rotates the guide toward a first posture from a second posture in conjunction with the forward rotation of the second folding roller and rotates the guide from the first posture toward the second posture in conjunction with the backward rotation of the second folding roller.

  • Patent number: 4928431
Abstract: A weather strip for providing a seal between a door opening of a body of a motor vehicle and a door frame, has extruded members and a molded member for connecting ends of the extruded members. Each of the extruded members and the molded member is provided with a base portion, and a tubular sealing portion projecting from the base portion to be pressed by the body of the motor vehicle and the door frame when a door is closed. The tubular sealing portion has a flat board like bridge connecting opposing inner side surfaces of the sealing portion. The bridge extends so as to cross a connection boundary between each of the extruded members, and the molded member in a direction perpendicular to the connection boundary. When the sealing portion is pressed by the body and the door frame, the connection boundary is backed up by the bridge so that an abrupt change in deformed state on both sides of the connection boundary can be reduced or moderated.

  • Patent number: 4785584
Abstract: A weather strip for the door pane of a motor vehicle in which the ends of front and rear vertical parts of the stripping are coupled to each other by a die molded portion. The stripping has a nearly U-shaped cross section such that a pane housing groove is defined by the inner, intermediate and outer walls of the stripping when it is fitted into a pane channel. Upper portions of the vertical parts of the stripping have an asymmetric cross section wherein at least the inner wall of the upper portion is provided with a curved seal lip extending toward the pane housing groove. Lower portions of the vertical parts of the stripping have a symmetric cross section such that both the inner and outer walls of the lower portion are provided with curved seal lips extending toward the pane housing groove.

  • Patent number: 4648207
Abstract: A glass run for an automobile door, which allows in a state fitted in a run channel an internal lateral wall, a bottom wall, and an external lateral wall thereof to form a glass receiving groove of a cross section roughly in the shape of three sides of a rectangle and has seal parts formed respectively on the internal lateral wall and the external lateral wall and adapted to come into contact with the inner and outer surfaces of a glass. The seal part formed on the internal lateral wall is provided with a curved part projected from the internal lateral wall toward the interior of the glass receiving groove so as to urge the glass toward the exterior of the automobile. The seal part on the external lateral wall is formed of a part extended substantially linearly from the external lateral wall so as to avoid urging the glass toward the interior of the automobile.
