  • Patent number: 5546466
Abstract: When a plurality of effects are simultaneously applied to an input audio signal, a plurality of effect-algorithms each for applying solely an effect to the input signal are stored in a memory, and a plurality of combination-algorithms or combination-data which represent combinations of the effects and orders in which effects are applied to the input audio signal are stored in the memory. When one of the combination-algorithms or the combination-data is selected, effect-algorithms included in the selected combination-algorithm or combination-data are selectively read out from the memory. A program for applying effects in a predetermined combination and order is written by CPU based on the read out effect-algorithms and combination-algorithm or combination-data. Receiving the program, DSP successively applies effects to the input audio signal in accordance with the program.

  • Patent number: 5298676
Abstract: A plurality of groups of tone parameters different in kind required for the generation of a musical sound is stored. The tone parameters of the same kind among those tone parameters are modulated with the same sway signal generated at the same time at a desired time or at fixed intervals of time when a key concerned is depressed. The modulated parameters are either restored in the original storage region or directly delivered to a sound source. The resulting musical sound has an acoustically natural comfortable tone quality. Even if musical sounds are generated simultaneously, no sways in the respective tones of the musical sound are canceled.

  • Patent number: 5206446
Abstract: An electronic musical instrument has a tone generation mode selecting switch capable of selecting a tone generation mode associated with an arbitrary one of a keyboard instrument play mode, a stringed instrument play mode and a wind instrument play mode, and a CPU for controlling the tone generation mode for a tone generator in accordance with the selection. This electronic musical instrument serving as a so-called tone generator module, can be driven by a MIDI signal supplied to a MIDI circuit from an external unit.

  • Patent number: 4961364
Abstract: A global envelope is input by a user and stored in a global envelope memory. At the respective envelope-controlled sine wave generators are generated envelope functions of the respective orders by modifying the input global envelope. The envelopes of component wave signals of a plurality of orders are independently controlled by the envelope functions having the respective orders in the generators, and a musical tone signal is synthesized by combining the envelope-controlled component wave signals.
