    Abstract: A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) strain gauge pressure sensor includes a top wafer stack having a top surface and a first cavity that is configured to receive a first fluid at a first pressure, a backing wafer having a bottom surface opposite the top surface of the top wafer stack; a diaphragm wafer positioned between the top wafer stack and the backing wafer and having a second cavity that is configured to receive a second fluid at a second pressure, and a pedestal connected laterally to the top wafer stack, the backing wafer, and the diaphragm wafer. The diaphragm wafer includes a diaphragm extending between the first cavity and the second cavity, and a resistor positioned on the diaphragm. The MEMS strain gauge pressure sensor has a central axis such that the MEMS strain gauge pressure sensor has mechanical symmetries about the central axis.

    Abstract: A method for additively manufacturing a component includes generating, via imaging software, a plurality of slices of a support structure of the component based on component geometry. The method also includes melting or fusing, via the additive manufacturing system, layers of material to a build platform of the component so as to form the support structure according to the plurality of slices. The support structure includes a lattice configuration having of a plurality of support members arranged together to form a plurality of cells. Further, the method includes melting or fusing, via the additive manufacturing system, a component body to the support structure. After the component body solidifies, the method includes removing all of the support structure from the component body to form the component.

In one aspect, during a first time period, a master access point transmits, to a slave access point, information for a joint transmission by the master access point and the slave access point. In one aspect, the slave access point estimates synchronization information for the joint transmission, according to the information for the joint transmission. In one aspect, during a second time period after the first time period, the master access point transmits a portion of a null data packet to a station device. In one aspect, during the second time period, the slave access point transmits the portion of the null data packet to the station device, based on the synchronization information for the joint transmission. In one aspect, the station device determines steering information for the MIMO communication, according to the null data packet.

    Abstract: A tempo-spatial evolution test system for rock breaking in deep and complex environment includes an acoustic emission sensor assembly and an acoustic emission amplifier assembly that are arranged on a rock mechanics test system. A triaxial cavity coupling bracket is arranged on an outer wall of the triaxial cavity and between two sets of acoustic emission sensor assemblies. The triaxial cavity coupling bracket includes a plate-shaped bracket, two sickle-shaped brackets, and at least three bracket bolts, which can be tightly wrapped on the outer wall of the triaxial cavity. A lateral side of the plate-shaped bracket vertically fixes two guide columns. The acoustic emission amplifier assembly is arranged between the two guide columns and is located above the plate-shaped bracket, and the acoustic emission amplifier assembly is connected to the acoustic emission sensor assembly through a signal line.

Therefore, by using the integrated frame to integrate required components into one mechanical part, the touch display module has thinner thickness and lighter weight.

    Abstract: A method for additively manufacturing a component includes receiving, via an additive manufacturing system, a geometry of the component and melting and fusing, via an energy beam of the additive manufacturing system, material layer by layer atop a build platform according to the geometry so as to build up a plurality of layers that form the component. The method also includes determining a surface area change from one of the plurality of layers to the next based on the geometry. Further, the method includes temporarily discontinuing melting and fusing of the material by the energy beam between building of one or more of the plurality of layers so as to provide a delay after building one or more of the plurality of layers when the surface area change is above a predetermined threshold. As such, the delay allows for one or more previously built layers to at least partially cool so as to eliminate and/or reduce build failures from occurring in the final component.
