    Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is a vacuum coating device for uniformly distributing metal steam by using a guide plate type structure. The vacuum coating device comprises a crucible, wherein an induction heater for heating molten metal in the crucible to form metal steam is arranged outside of the crucible. A top of the crucible is connected to a flow distribution tank body by means of a metal steam pipeline. A horizontal core rod and a pressure stabilizing plate are arranged inside the flow distribution tank body. The core rod is located below the pressure stabilizing plate. A coating nozzle is arranged at the top of the flow distribution tank body. An induction coil is arranged on the outer side of the flow distribution tank body. A pressure regulating valve is arranged on the metal steam pipeline.

The vacuum coating device in the present invention can improve the yield of the coating, and also can form a uniform coating with consistent thickness.

    Abstract: A method for continuous thin strip casting comprises: introducing molten steel through a long nozzle into a tundish from a ladle, the tundish is one strand tundish, and the molten steel flows below a weir, then passes a first dam and enters a channel with an induction heating device, and the heated molten steel then flows out from an outlet at the other side of the tundish to a nozzle also with an induction heating device for casting. The distances between the weirs of the tundish and the channel have optimal distance ranges. The present invention can improve the casting stability and the quality of the casting strip.

The tundish is one strand tundish, and the molten steel flows below a weir (2) which is located at one side in the tundish, then passes a first dam (3) and enters a channel (4) with an induction heating device, and a temperature of the molten steel after induction heating is 30˜50 C higher than that of the molten steel introduced into the tundish, and the heated molten steel then flows out from a outlet at the other side of the tundish to a nozzle (5) for casting.
