Abstract: Provided is an electron microscope specimen mount. The electron microscope specimen mount can include a stage. The electron microscope specimen mount can also include a cooling specimen holder provided on a top surface of the stage and configured to receive power and cool down a measurement target specimen to a certain temperature. The electron microscope specimen mount can further include a room-temperature specimen holder separated from the cooling specimen holder. The cooling specimen holder and the room-temperature specimen holder can be selectively used.

Abstract: An electron microscope equipped with automatic beam alignment is provided. The electron microscope can include a vacuum chamber having a receiving space to allow a measurement target specimen to be positioned inside the vacuum chamber. The electron microscope can also include an electron gun coupled to a top of the vacuum chamber with an insulating panel between the electron gun and the vacuum chamber and including a filament module configured to receive power from a power supply and emit an electron beam toward the measurement target specimen. The filament module can be connected to the power supply via a flexible wire inserted into a through hole of the insulating panel such that an assembly error is prevented from occurring when the filament module is coupled to the through hole and the electron beam emitted from the filament module is automatically aligned with a reference optical axis.

Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for storing an incoming datagram in a switch matrix of a switch fabric. The switch matrix has a pair of buffers with each buffer having a pair of portions. Data of a datagram is received and the buffer portions are sequentially filled with the data. Periodically, transfer of data is allowed from the buffers into the switch matrix. At each period where transfer of data is allowed in the sequence that the buffer portions were filled, the data in one of the buffer portions may be transferred into the switch matrix.

Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for transferring a packet from a port controller to a switch fabric in a switch fabric system. Notification is received indicating that a packet has been processed in the port controller. The processed packet is assigned and linked to an output priority queue. Subsequently, the packet is retrieved via the link and transmitted from the port controller to the switch fabric.
