  • Publication number: 20240079239
Abstract: A method includes implanting impurities in a semiconductor substrate to form an etch stop region within the semiconductor substrate; forming a transistor structure on a front side of the semiconductor substrate; forming a front-side interconnect structure over the transistor structure; performing a thinning process on a back side of the semiconductor substrate to reduce a thickness of the semiconductor substrate, wherein the thinning process is slowed by the etch stop region; and forming a back-side interconnect structure over the back side of the semiconductor substrate.

  • Patent number: 8576383
Abstract: The present invention provides a laser rangefinder and a method of activating the laser rangefinder to measure distance. The laser rangefinder has a first sensing to sense whether the user is aiming the laser rangefinder at a target and a second sensing device to sense an acceleration of the laser rangefinder and the acceleration has to be smaller than a preset value. The laser rangefinder will be automatically activated to measure distance when both of the first sensing device and the second device are checked.

  • Patent number: 8154651
Abstract: Disclosed is an image recording apparatus capable of preventing maloperations when entering into sleep mode. The image recording apparatus comprises a display module, a detecting unit, a power supply unit, a first switch, a second switch and a control unit having an interrupt unit. The control unit controls the first switch in an on-state to supply power to the display module and the detecting unit and executes a corresponding operation. After an idle status of the image recording apparatus exceeds a predetermined time, the control unit disables the interrupt unit and controls the second switch in an on-state and the first switch in an off-state to supply power to the detecting unit via the second switch. After a default time, the control unit enables the interrupt unit, therefore, maloperations when entering into the sleep mode can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7912365
Abstract: A charged capacitor switching device for a photoflash is provided and includes a flash control unit, a capacitor charging/discharging unit, a charged capacitor switching unit and an illumination modulator. The capacitor charging/discharging unit coupled to the flash control unit includes a plurality of capacitors connected in parallel and switches coupled thereto respectively. The charged capacitor switching unit determines whether each switch is opened or closed according to a compensation parameter. The illumination modulator compares an environmental illumination and a pre-flash illumination to generate a compared result, determines whether the compared result has reached a threshold, obtains the compensation parameter according to the compared result when the compared result is below the threshold, and drives the flash control unit to generate a flash illumination corresponding to the compensation parameter.

  • Publication number: 20100017639
Abstract: A power management apparatus including power supply circuit and control unit is disclosed. The power supply circuit receives input voltage having voltage value, and converts voltage value into a first converted signal having a first voltage value and a second converted signal having a second voltage value through first and second converters, respectively. The first and second converters are reset according to first and second reset signals, respectively. The control unit receives the first and second converted signals, and compares the first and second voltage values with first and second reference ranges, respectively. The control unit further issues first reset signal when first voltage value is not within first reference range and second voltage value is within second reference range, and issues second reset signal when first voltage value is within first reference range and second voltage value is not within second reference range.

  • Publication number: 20090295919
Abstract: A monitoring system with two detectors arranged on left and right sides of a camera thereof. The two detectors divide the area around the monitoring system into a non-detectable region, an overlapped detecting region, and first and second non-overlapped detecting regions. According to the detection result of the detectors, the control unit wakes up from a sleep mode when an object leaves the non-detectable region and enters the first or second non-overlapped detecting region. Meanwhile, the control unit turns on the camera to start shooting when the object has further entered the overlapped detecting region.
