Publication number: 20240191388Abstract: An electrolytic polishing treatment method for a nickel-based alloy workpiece made by lamination manufacturing comprises the following steps. Step (A) comprises performing a sandblasting treatment on the nickel-based alloy workpiece, followed by ultrasonic oscillation of the sandblasted nickel-based alloy workpiece in an oxalic acid solution. Step (B) comprises placing the nickel-based alloy workpiece in an electrolyte solution containing methanol, sulfuric acid, and perchloric acid and performing electrolytic polishing on the nickel-based alloy workpiece at a constant voltage after step (A). The processes of oxalic acid activation and electrolytic polishing are used to avoid the problems of residual stress and processing directionality caused by conventional mechanical processing and make the surface properties of the entire workpiece uniform.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2023Publication date: June 13, 2024Inventors: CHUN-HSIANG KAO, YI-CHERNG FERNG, YING-SUN HUANG, KUO-KUANG JEN, SHUN-YI JIAN, CHIA-YU LEE, JUNG-CHOU HUNG, PO-JEN YANG

Patent number: 10131009Abstract: The present invention provides a continuous machining system, which comprises an electrochemical machining module, a separating module, and a vibration reducing module. The electrochemical machining module performs an electrochemical machining to a material strip for forming a plurality of components on the material strip. The separating module separates the plurality of components from the material strip. Thereby, the machining time is saved, and thus achieving the purposes of continuous machining and mass production. The vibration reducing module is located between the electrochemical machining module and the separating module. The vibration reducing module can ease the vibration of the material strip. Consequently, the influence of vibration on the electrochemical machining precision of the material strip machined by the electrochemical machining module may be minimized.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2017Date of Patent: November 20, 2018Assignee: Metal Industries Research & Development CentreInventors: Hung-Yi Chen, Jung-Chou Hung

Publication number: 20150021198Abstract: The present invention provides a continuous machining system and the machining method thereof. The machining system comprises a feeding module, an electrochemical machining module, and a separating module. The feeding module supplies a material strip continuously; the electrochemical machining module performs an electrochemical machining to the material strip. When the feeding module supplies the material strip to the electrochemical machining module continuously, the electrochemical machining module performs the electrochemical machining to the material strip continuously for forming continuously a plurality of components on the material strip. The separating module separates the plurality of components from the material strip. Thereby, the machining time is saved, and thus achieving the purposes of continuous machining and mass production.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2013Publication date: January 22, 2015Applicant: METAL INDUSTRIES RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CENTREInventors: HUNG-YI CHEN, JUNG-CHOU HUNG

Patent number: 8268137Abstract: The present invention relates an electrochemical processing apparatus and a processing method thereof. A reciprocating swing unit is used to drive the processing electrode to process a workpiece, and thus simplifying fabrication of the processing electrode, and shortening processes and reducing costs. In addition, by using a high-frequency reciprocating twist and micro-vibrating unit to drive the processing electrode to perform high-frequency reciprocating twists and micro-vibrations, the processing electrode can perform twist without varying the processing gap. Thereby, the electrolyte in the gap can be perturbed and renewed continuously. Accordingly, bubbles and products produced during electrolysis can be removed sufficiently, enhancing processing precision and surface quality using the processing electrode on processing the workpiece.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2008Date of Patent: September 18, 2012Assignee: Metal Industries Research & Development CentreInventors: Jung-Chou Hung, Dayu Lin

Publication number: 20120171507Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrolytic machining method. For increasing size precision of electrolytic machining method, a metallic mask layer is formed on the surface of a workpiece whose material has high conductivity or volume electrochemical equivalent, whereby the metallic mask layer can be used as a sacrificial layer of electrolytic machining and simultaneously protects the non-machining region of the workpiece so as to reduce lateral machining of the workpiece Consequently, the size precision of electrolytic machining is enhanced. In addition, the feasibility of electrolytically machining a miniature interval between two machined structures is increased as well. In addition, the present invention provides a semifinished electrolytic workpiece, comprising a workpiece and a metallic mask layer formed on the surface of the workpiece. The conductivity or volume electrochemical equivalent of the metallic mask layer is smaller than that of the workpiece.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2011Publication date: July 5, 2012Applicant: METAL INDUSTRIES RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CENTREInventors: JUNG-CHOU HUNG, DA-YU LIN
