  • Patent number: 11952647
Abstract: There is provided a ferritic lightweight steel which contains 2.0 to 3.0 wt % manganese (Mn), 5.0 to 6.0 wt % aluminum (Al) and 0.1 to 0.3 wt % carbon (C) and has a tensile strength of 900 MPa to 1,108 MPa. The lightweight steel includes ferrite-austenite dual grains as a result of performing low-temperature tempering-induced partitioning (LTP) at 300° C. for 10 minutes after isothermal annealing.

  • Patent number: 11449504
Abstract: Provided is a system and method for pruning partitions from a database access operation based on a dependency graph. In one example, the method may include generating a dependency graph for a partition-wise operation, the dependency graph comprising nodes representing partition candidates and links between the nodes identifying dependencies of the partition candidates, receiving, at runtime, a database query comprising a partition identifier, identifying a partition candidate that can be excluded from processing the database query based on the partition identifier, pruning a second partition candidate based on a dependency in the dependency graph between the excluded partition candidate and the second partition candidate, and performing a database access for the database query based on the pruning.

  • Patent number: 11294903
Abstract: A system includes determination, for a first partitioned physical query operator in a query operator tree, of a partition-wise placement cost based on a cost of each table partition associated with the first partitioned physical query operator and a partition-wise placement cost of any child physical query operator of the first partitioned physical query operator, determination of a placement cost for the first partitioned physical query operator physical query operator for each of a plurality of operator execution locations based on the determined partition-wise placement cost, determination, for a logical query operator associated with the first partitioned physical query operator, of a merged placement cost for each of the plurality of operator execution locations, and determination an execution location for the first partitioned physical query operator based on the determined partition-wise placement cost.
