  • Publication number: 20120220437
Abstract: A tool magazine that can make a long tool reasonably coexist with other tools and a machining center with the tool magazine are provided. The tool magazine has a rotatable magazine main body and plural of tool holders installed on the magazine main body. Each of the tool holders moves to a tool exchange position sequentially. A part or all of the tool holders has a capability of changing between an exchange posture that holds the tool in parallel to a rotation shaft of the magazine main body and a transport posture that holds the tool along with a plane perpendicular to the rotation shaft of the magazine main body. The tool holder capable of changing postures takes the exchange posture when it locates in the tool exchange position and takes the transport posture when it leave the exchange position. The machining center has the above tool magazine.

  • Patent number: 8250661
Abstract: Upon applying a DRM protection process to an image which is generated by an image processing apparatus, which doesn't have any communication means that allows direct communications with a PC, without any alteration, encryption of the image in the apparatus and that of the image in the PC as an internal process of the DRM are required, resulting in poor efficiency. The apparatus executes a part of the DRM protection process for the image, and outputs the encrypted image. The PC receives the image which has undergone the part of the DRM protection process, executes the remaining part of the DRM protection process, and outputs the image which has undergone the DRM protection process. In this case, the PC transmits use condition of the input image to a license server, receives signed use condition from the server, and combines the signed use condition with the input encrypted image.

  • Publication number: 20120127492
Abstract: This invention can generate printed matter on which a multi-valued discrimination image of three values or more cannot be visually confirmed under ordinary light but can be visually confirmed via an infrared camera under infrared light. To this end, a holding unit holds items of color information C1, C2, and C3 each indicating usage amounts of printing materials of three types, used by a printing apparatus, which have a color difference under visible light not more than a pre-set threshold, and which have different infrared light ray absorption rates. When a latent image generating unit generates infrared light ray latent image data of three tones, a discrimination image data generating unit decides one color information item Ci (1?i?3) held by the holding unit, and outputs the decided Ci to an output unit which outputs the received pixel values to the printing apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20110305057
Abstract: In one embodiment, a semiconductor memory device receives a refresh command and address information, and supplies a refresh control signal and the address information in common to core chips. Each of the core chips includes a layer-address comparison circuit that determines whether the address information assigns an own core chip, and a refresh control circuit that refreshes an own memory cell based on the refresh control signal when the address information assigns the own core chip. With this arrangement, a memory capacity of a chip that is refreshed by a refresh command for one time is reduced, and therefore a shortest issuing interval of a refresh command can be shortened.

  • Publication number: 20110199501
Abstract: The invention enables a verifier to easily confirm that the image data was captured in the multiple exposure mode, and also to easily confirm which area in the image captured in the multiple exposure mode was greatly affected by multiple exposure. An image generating unit generates exposure image data pieces by exposing an image sensor a plurality of times. An image composition unit combines exposure image data pieces to generate a single piece of composite image data. A reference image generating unit generates reference image data composed of data pieces for distinguishing pixel positions at which the exposure amount exceeds a threshold from the other pixel positions. A verification data generating unit generates verification data for determining whether alteration has been made from the composite image data and the reference image data to output a single file.

  • Publication number: 20110158530
Abstract: This invention specifies the presence/absence of alteration and an alteration position. A block division unit divides image data into image data of a first unit including a predetermined number of pixels. A block calculation unit calculates an image data coefficient of the first unit. A cell division unit divides one image data of the first unit into image data of a second unit. A cell calculation unit calculates an image data coefficient of the second unit. First verification data is generated by selecting two image data coefficients of the first unit and generating, for one pair, data representing the magnitude relation of the image data coefficients of the first unit. Second verification data is generated by selecting two image data coefficients of the second unit and generating, for one pair, data representing the magnitude relation of the image data coefficients of the second unit.
