  • Patent number: 4448488
Abstract: A tilting device for use in an anti-glare mirror including a prism mirror, a plate for holding the prism mirror, and a casing for accommodating the prism mirror and the plate in it. The tilting device includes a contact projection mounted on the plate, a spring for urging the plate and the prism mirror, a rotary member having a cam face formed on its one face, and a reversible motor for driving the rotary member such that the prism mirror is changed over to either one of a normal position and an anti-glare position.

  • Patent number: 4316168
Abstract: An improved electrical circuit breaker which is so arranged that, by the deflection of a bimetal plate of approximately rectangular configuration having, at its opposite ends, electrical contacts contacting corresponding portions of terminal plates under a predetermined contact pressure, the engagement of the central portion of the bimetal plate and an engaging member is released so as to cause the bimetal plate to move in the direction normal to the direction of application of the contact pressure by spring force of a spring member through a holder member for cutting off electrical connection between the terminal plates.

  • Patent number: 4286759
Abstract: A lock lever is pivotally supported by a frame secured to the vehicle body, the intermediate portion of a webbing for restraining an occupant is wound around a contact member secured to said lock lever, and, when the tension of the webbing is increased in an emergency, said lock lever turns whereby lock members clamp the intermediate portion of the webbing to lock same, so that the occupant can be restrained. Particularly, the contact member, during normal condition of the vehicle, is supported by a small diameter portion to smoothly guide the webbing, and, in an emergency of the vehicle, comes into contact at a large diameter portion thereof with said lock lever to receive a resisting force to the rotation, so that the portion of the webbing locked by the lock members can be decreased in tension.

  • Patent number: 4278215
Abstract: Webbing lock mechanism comprising a wind-up shaft pivotally supported on a frame for winding up a webbing for restraining an occupant; a fixed base secured to the frame; a lock lever pivotally supported on the frame for being pivotally moved by tension of the webbing over a predetermined value; a lock member for approaching toward the base by being guided a window of the frame due to the force of pivotal movement of the lock lever so as to clamp the webbing; and approach limiting means provided on the fixed base and the clamping portion of the lock member on the side of the occupant for limiting the minimal distance of the lock member on the side of the occupant toward the fixed base.
