  • Publication number: 20240124571
Abstract: Provided is a substance capable of effectively suppressing cancer metastasis or a pharmaceutical composition that effectively acts on an inflammatory disease. The pharmaceutical composition is a pharmaceutical composition containing, as an active ingredient, an antibody or an antibody fragment thereof having antigen-binding activity for an S100A8/A9 heterodimer, and blocks interaction between S100A8/A9 and a group of receptors therefor, to thereby strongly suppress cancer metastasis both in vitro and in vivo, or alleviate inflammation. That is, the anti-S100A8/A9 antibody or the antibody fragment thereof can strongly suppress cancer metastasis or alleviate inflammation, by virtue of its blocking action on the interaction between S100A8/A9 and the group of receptors therefor.

  • Patent number: 10300872
Abstract: A bumper beam formed of fiber reinforced resin containing continuous fibers oriented at least in the vehicle width direction sufficiently absorbs the collision energy of a high-speed collision in the fiber reinforced resin. The bumper beam also has a center portion positioned in the center in the vehicle width direction and protruding outward in the front-back direction, and right and left outer portions inclined from the respective ends of the center portion seen in the vehicle width direction toward the inner side in the front-back direction. The outer portions each have a resin foam member protruding outward in front-back direction. Thus, at the time of a low speed collision, the resin foam member is crushed to absorb part of the collision energy so that the energy is absorbed and distributed over the center and outer portions, protecting the car body frame from deformation.

  • Patent number: 8985681
Abstract: A vehicle body floor structure reinforces a floor body by a reinforcing portion, and the floor body includes a side sill, an outrigger, a floor cross member, and a tunnel frame. The reinforcing portion includes a first member that connects a corner portion between the side sill and a vehicle body skeleton part formed by the outrigger to a corner portion between a vehicle body skeleton part formed by the floor cross member and a vehicle body skeleton part formed by the tunnel frame, and a second member that connects a front-end vehicle body skeleton part of a front end of the floor body to a middle portion of the first member.
