Publication number: 20090242559Abstract: A member with skin includes a substrate, and a skin. The skin includes a covering portion for covering the substrate on the front surface's side, and an anchoring portion for engaging with the substrate's rear-surface periphery. The skin has a covering surface being formed as a concaved planar shape, and an exposed surface being formed as a convexed planar shape. The anchoring portion is disposed successively to the covering portion's periphery, and extends inward toward the covering portion. The skin is made of soft material, and is molded independently of the substrate. Before being assembled with the substrate, the skin includes the covering portion whose covering surface is formed as a convexed planar shape, and whose exposed surface is formed as a concaved planar shape, and the anchoring portion is placed more outward than the covering portion's periphery lies.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2009Publication date: October 1, 2009Applicant: TOYODA GOSEI CO., LTD.Inventors: Hiroki Mizoguchi, Junichiro Kako, Koichi Suzuki, Eiichi Takahashi

Patent number: 7018288Abstract: An air-conditioning register includes a cylinder-shaped retainer having opposite inner surfaces, a fin assembly including a plurality of fin members disposed in the retainer, a first connector connecting the fin members, a second connector, and a guide guiding the second connector on a predetermined track. The fin members includes paired fin members disposed in proximity to the opposite inner surfaces of the retainer, at least one of the paired fin members swinging by a swing angle smaller than that of all of the other fin members, and functioning as a dummy fin member keeping a constant angle independently within a predetermined swing-angle range where all of the other fin members swing. The second connector connects the dummy fin member and all of the other fin members while absorbing a swing-angle difference between the dummy fin member and all of the other fin members.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2004Date of Patent: March 28, 2006Assignee: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.Inventors: Makoto Okada, Mitsuo Ogura, Kenji Asano, Junichiro Kako

Patent number: 6105917Abstract: A cup holder is arranged for withdrawal from and insertion into an accommodation case. The cup holder includes a frame plate, a cup inserting hole formed through the frame plate, and a cup receiving frame pivotally arranged on the frame plate for rotation, and receiving a cup at a location underneath the cup insertion hole. One of the frame plate and the cup capable of receiving frame is formed of a resin with a higher melting point and the other is formed of a lower melting point resin with a melting point lower than the higher melting point resin. The frame plate and the cup receiving frame are formed by a two-layer molding method wherein the higher melting point resin is cast by injection molding and then a lower melting point resin is cast by injection molding.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 1998Date of Patent: August 22, 2000Assignee: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shigeru Yabuya, Akiyoshi Nagano, Junichiro Kako, Akira Azumi, Tetsuya Tani

Patent number: 6000572Abstract: A console box for storing small articles includes a box body, an outer lid pivotally mounted for opening and closing the box body and an inner lid disposed between the box body and the outer lid. The box body has a first space for storing small articles. The outer lid pivots within a first angle with respect to the box body. The outer lid is box-shaped and has a second space inside. The inner lid has a third space for storing other small articles. The inner lid is located in the second space of the outer lid when the outer lid is closed. The inner lid pivots in accordance with the movement of the outer lid to a second angle that is smaller than the first angle with respect to the box body. The box body according to the present invention may have a stopper for limiting a maximum opening angle of the outer lid.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 1996Date of Patent: December 14, 1999Assignee: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.Inventors: Junichiro Kako, Shigeru Yabuya, Minoru Shibata, Masahiro Ono
