The mantle is made of a thermoplastic resin composition. The cover is made primarily of a thermoplastic polyurethane material. This construction provides the golf ball with a combination of outstanding flight performance and soft feel with cover's scuff resistance and coating's abrasion resistance, that is unprecedented.
