  • Publication number: 20240053053
Abstract: An air purifier includes a housing having an air inlet, an air outlet, and a cavity portion connecting the air inlet and the air outlet, two blowers disposed in the cavity portion and each including a fan rotatable to generate a flow of air, and a filter disposed in the cavity portion. During rotation of the fan, the two blowers each suck in air from outside of the housing through the air inlet into the cavity portion, and blow the air having passed through the filter from the air outlet to the outside of the housing. A direction in which the air inlet is open crosses a direction in which the air outlet is open. An opening area of the air outlet is smaller than an opening area of the air inlet.

  • Publication number: 20230371943
Abstract: A suturing device includes a plurality of suture needles, a first-thread holding mechanism, a needle moving mechanism, and a thread turning structure. The thread turning structure is configured to locally turn a portion of a first thread hooked on a distal end portion of each of a plurality of suture needles in the first thread stretched in a first direction around a needle axis thereof such that the portion of the first thread extends in a direction along a third direction intersecting the first direction and a second direction, in a state where the plurality of suture needles have been moved in the second direction. Each of the plurality of suture needles has a side surface formed with a threading recessed groove extending through the side surface in the first direction in a state where each of the plurality of suture needles has been moved in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20230233973
Abstract: An air purifier includes a housing, a first blower, a second blower, and a filter. The housing has a cavity inside, an inlet and an outlet. The first blower has a first fan in the housing. The second blower has a second fan in the housing. The second blower faces the first blower in an opposing direction. The inlet is located between the first blower and the second blower in the opposing direction. The inlet opens in a direction intersecting the opposing direction. The first fan of the first blower and the second fan of the second blower generate airflow such that air flows into the cavity through the inlet, and flows from the cavity through the filter to the outlet.

  • Patent number: 6615796
Abstract: In multi-cylinder engine in which an intake valve and a first spark plug arranged side by side along an axis of a camshaft and an exhaust valve and a second spark plug arranged side by side along the axis of the camshaft are disposed in a cylinder head for every combustion chamber, the position of a central portion of an upstream end of an intake port provided in the cylinder head with the intake valve interposed between the intake port and each of the combustion chambers and the position of a central portion of a downstream end of an exhaust port provided in the cylinder head with the exhaust valve interposed between the exhaust port and each of the combustion chambers are set to correspond with each other in the direction along the axis of the camshaft. Thus, the length of the cylinder head is reduced.

Thus, it is possible to provide a reduction in size of the cylinder head in a direction along the axis of the camshaft.

  • Patent number: 6470865
Abstract: An engine cylinder head in which a water jacket and an EGR passage are formed therein, the EGR passage opening into an exhaust passage at one end and opening into a side of an intake side at the other end thereof, the engine cylinder being characterized in that the EGR passage is provided outwardly in a cylinder arrangement direction of head bolt pass-through holes formed in one end of the engine cylinder head in the cylinder arrangement direction. Thus, because the EGR passage can be made much longer, the cooling capacity for re-circulating gas can be improved. Moreover, because the EGR passage can be provided without head bolts being spaced apart from the combustion chamber, the surface pressure around combustion chambers in the cylinder head relative to a cylinder block can be prevented from being lowered.

  • Patent number: 5845614
Abstract: A valve operating system includes a connection switch-over device provided in a plurality of cam followers. The connection switch-over device has a piston moved in response to a change in hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic pressure chamber. A roller shaft is disposed on at least one of the cam followers and has a roller carried thereon to come into rolling contact with a valve operating cam. In this valve operating system, the hydraulic pressure chamber and a communication passage, which permits an oil supply passage to communicate with the hydraulic pressure chamber, are defined in a particular one of all the cam followers, which moves a smallest amount when the connection switch-over device is in its disconnecting state. The roller shaft, having the roller rotatably carried thereon, is mounted on the cam follower other than the particular one cam follower.
