    Abstract: The present invention provides a ray beam guiding device for guiding a ray beam in a ray inspection apparatus. The ray beam guiding device is provided in a housing of the ray inspection apparatus, and two ends of the ray beam guiding device are connected to a front collimator and a rear collimator, respectively. The ray beam guiding device comprises a plurality of guiding walls and a guiding cavity surrounded by the guiding walls. The guiding wall is formed of a first material which is capable of absorbing rays or the first material is coated on an inside of the guiding wall, and the guiding cavity has a central axis extending in a direction from the rear collimator to the front collimator, and the ray beam guiding device further comprises at least one fin plate provided in the guiding cavity of the ray beam guiding device. The at least one fin plate is configured for blocking and/or absorbing scattered rays.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for measuring X-ray energy of an accelerator in an inspection system. the method comprises: building a database comprising correspondence between half-value layer (HVL) and energy under a predetermined condition; measuring HVL for X-rays of the accelerator in the inspection system on line under the same predetermined condition; and comparing the measured HVL with the HVLs in the database comprising correspondence between HVL and energy to determine the X-ray energy of the accelerator. The method is applicable to a large-scale container/vehicle inspection system for measurement of X-ray energy/HVL of the accelerator so as to acquire source state of the inspection system in real time.

The inspection method includes: performing X-ray scanning on an object being inspected so as to generate an image of the object being inspected; dividing the image of the object being inspected to determine at least one region of interest; detecting interaction between a cosmic ray and the region of interest to obtain a detection value; calculating a scattering characteristic value and/or an absorption characteristic value of the cosmic ray in the region of interest based on size information of the region of interest and the detection value; and discriminating a material attribute of the region of interest by means of the scattering characteristic value and/or the absorption characteristic value. With the above technical solutions, inspection accuracy and inspection efficiency may be improved.

    Abstract: A process for stabilizing hypophosphite salt is provided, which comprises the following steps: a) washing the hypophosphite salt at least one time under a controlled pH value of 4-11, preferably 5-8, as the said hypophosphite salt in an aqueous solution and/or in a solid state; and b) drying the said hypophosphite salt under reduced pressure to remove the volatiles. The process can prevent or minimize the formation of a dangerous quantity of phosphine from hypophosphite salts, more particularly in the flame retardant of the application. The flame retardant polymer composition is also provided, which comprises a polymer and the hypophosphite salt stabilized by the above process.
