  • Publication number: 20080047892
Abstract: Disclosed is a portable micro blood separator, which has a blood separator including a main body including an upper substrate and a lower substrate; a blood introduction unit formed at one side of the main body for allowing blood to be introduced into the separator; a blood inflow unit including an inflow groove formed in the lower substrate, through which the blood introduced by the blood introduction unit flows; and a plasma extraction unit including extraction spaces extended from the blood inflow unit and having a height lower than that of the inflow groove of the blood inflow unit so that plasma can be separated from the blood flowing into the blood inflow unit, so as to separate the plasma and corpuscles from the blood and analyze ingredients in the separated plasma.

  • Patent number: 6936146
Abstract: An Electrochemical biosensor readout meter which can do selectively quantitative analysis of sample of living body such as blood sugar, cholesterol and other elements in blood is disclosed. It is an object of this invention to provide electrochemical biosensor readout meter which has no distortion in peak current and can be manufactured in a low cost. In a preferred embodiment of present invention, a voltage converting means (OP2) is set to convert peak current which occurs at 3rd voltage applying time (t3) into voltage with no distortion and an amplifier (OP3) is set to make digital voltage signal at measuring time (t4) lower than reference voltage of A/D converter.

  • Publication number: 20030042150
Abstract: An Electrochemical biosensor system which can do selectively quantitative analysis of blood sugar, cholesterol and other elements in blood is disclosed. The electrochemical biosensor test strip used in this invention is provided with recognition electrode which indicates that a fixed reagent is used for what material's quantitative analysis. The readout meter used in this invention discriminates the use of inserted test strip by auto-recognition of the location of said recognition electrode and performs predetermined algorithm. According to this invention, it has advantage that various blood elements such as blood sugar, cholesterol, GOT and GPT can be analyzed quantitatively by one readout meter.
