  • Publication number: 20240162773
Abstract: An electric motor disclosed herein may comprise a rotor core fixed to a shaft, a stator, and first and second refrigerant passages. The stator may include coil ends at both ends. The first refrigerant passage may be provided in the shaft and arranged outside the rotor core in an axial direction of the shaft. The second refrigerant passage may extend inside the rotor core. A first outlet of the first refrigerant passage may be provided on the shaft, and an ejecting direction of refrigerant at the first outlet may be directed towards one of the coil ends. The rotor core is cooled by the refrigerant flowing in the second refrigerant passage. The coil ends are cooled by the refrigerant flowing in the first refrigerant passage, that is, the refrigerant that has not cooled the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20240162766
Abstract: An electric motor disclosed herein may include a stator, a supply hole, a first flow passage, and second flow passages. The first flow passage and the second flow passages may be provided in the stator. The first flow passage may extend along a circumferential direction of the stator. The second flow passages may extend along an axis of the stator and cross the first flow passage. A plurality of guides may be provided in the first flow passage to disturb a flow of refrigerant. The refrigerant is supplied from the supply hole to the first flow passage and disturbed by the guides. A part of the refrigerant of which flow is disturbed flows into the second flow passages. The refrigerant is distributed, thus, the refrigerant flows evenly into the second flow passages. The entire stator is thus effectively cooled.

  • Publication number: 20240149660
Abstract: A drive unit for a vehicle may include a motor, a casing accommodating the motor, an electric pump unit attached to a lower part of the casing and configured to circulate heat medium within the casing and a filter unit attached to the lower part of the casing and configured to filter the heat medium. At least a part of the electric pump unit and at least a part of the filter unit each protrude outside the casing. Outside the casing, the filter unit is adjacent to the electric pump unit from a front in the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6866443
Abstract: A fastening assistance structure has a bolt hole for passing therethrough a threaded portion of a bolt, a seat face for engaging a head seat face of the bolt, and a partition wall for guiding the bolt into the bolt hole. A bolt inlet which is open at an end of the partition wall lies flush with an end face of a bulge. Even when the bolt hole is positioned behind the bulge, the bolt inlet can be seen, and the bolt can be inserted from the bolt inlet into the partition wall. If the partition wall has an inner wall of a tapered shape progressively smaller in diameter toward the bolt hole, then the bolt can easily be inserted along the inner wall of the partition wall into the bolt hole.

  • Publication number: 20030230395
Abstract: A vehicle air-conditioning system has a substantially upright evaporator, a substantially upright heater core, an inlet pipe for introducing engine coolant water into an inlet port of the heater core, and an outlet pipe for discharging engine coolant water from an outlet port of the heater core. The outlet port is disposed upwardly of the inlet port. The outlet pipe extends over the evaporator and is connected to an engine. The outlet pipe has an end connected to the outlet port and directed upwardly from the outlet port. The inlet pipe extends below the evaporator and is connected to the engine.
