  • Patent number: 11997522
Abstract: An apparatus (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) may experience cross-link interference from uplink signal beams from interfering UEs. To mitigate the cross-link interference, the apparatus receives an interference resource information message indicating resources allocated to one or more interfering UEs for transmission of reference signal beams, measures the reference signal beams from the one or more interfering UEs based on the resources to obtain a plurality of reference signal beam measurements; and transmits a report indicating a set of the reference signal beams from the one or more interfering UEs based on the plurality of reference signal beam measurements.

  • Patent number: 11996934
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network node may identify a set of packets (e.g., from a packet pool) that are scheduled for broadcast to a plurality of user equipments (UEs) and transmit a set of network encoded packets based on the set of packets. The network node may receive feedback from one or more of the plurality of UEs, and the feedback may indicate successfully decoded packets by each of the one or more UEs. Based on the feedback, the network node may identify an updated set of packets and transmit the updated set. The transmitter may continue to update and transmit based on feedback until the feedback indicates that updated set of packets is empty.

  • Publication number: 20240172318
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for reducing latency associated with performing some operations that use a reference signal. To illustrate, a user equipment (UE) may receive a reference signal and then may receive a message indicating one or more of an update of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of the UE or a change in designation of a path loss reference signal (PL-RS) measured by the UE. If the reference signal is received within a threshold time period of receiving the message (or vice versa), the UE may perform the update or the change in designation of the PL-RS using one or more parameters determined using the reference signal.

  • Publication number: 20240154682
Abstract: Aspects relate to measuring and scheduling reference signals. A user equipment (UE) detects reference signals having overlapping resources, and determines a context associated with the reference signals. A Layer 1 (L1) measurement is then performed of at least one reference signal according to a prioritization associated with the context. In another aspect, a network entity determines a scheduling of resources that enables a UE to prioritize performing an L1 measurement of a reference signal from a non-serving cell, and communicates with the UE according to the scheduling. In yet another aspect, a UE communicates with a gNb using transmission configuration indication (TCI) states associated with a corresponding control resource set (CORESET) pool of CORESETs. Beam failure detection (BFD) reference signals are then identified explicitly via a configuration signaling, or implicitly based on the TCI states. The BFD reference signals are then monitored to facilitate detecting a beam failure event.

The UE also may apply transmission configuration indication (TCI) states based on TCI codepoints in a TCI field of the DCI, when the DCI is used for beam indication. The base station may generate the DCI with information indicating whether the DCI is intended for beam indication with or without downlink assignment, in which the DCI includes the TCI codepoints to apply the TCI states at the UE when the information in the DCI indicates that the DCI is intended for beam indication. The base station may transmit, to the UE, the DCI.

  • Publication number: 20240147270
Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) receives a configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report from a base station. The configuration includes an indication of a sounding reference signal (SRS) or uplink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmitted from a second UE as an interference measurement resource (IMR). The base station configures the second UE to transmit the SRS or the uplink DMRS on the IMR. The first UE measures the IMR to determine a cross-link interference of the second UE to the first UE. The UE transmits the CSI report. The CSI report includes at least one channel characteristic that takes into account the cross-link interference of the second UE. The CSI report may include information for a plurality of CSI-RS resource indicators (CRIs), each CRI associated with a same channel measurement resource (CMR) and a different IMR corresponding to a different second UE.

  • Patent number: 11973546
Abstract: In some access networks, group-based beam reporting configured for a UE may be based on heuristics and/or based on UE implementation, and therefore, may lack adequate information regarding joint channel properties for simultaneous transmission and reception on a channel configured with a base station. Configurations of UEs and base stations are described herein that support various feedback metrics for resource grouping in association with transmission and reception operation modes and/or channel states, such as MIMO schemes, SINRs, channel properties, and the like. Base stations may dynamically indicate metrics to be reported by UEs so that simultaneous transmission and reception may be sufficiently supported.
