  • Patent number: 8534314
Abstract: Disclosed is an explosion protection valve comprising a closing member (4) which is movable inside a housing (2), is guided along a guide bar (3), and can be displaced in a moving direction from a predefined open position into a sealing closed position in case of a shock wave or suction wave. The explosion protection valve further comprises a spring arrangement that is effectively connected to the closing member (4) in order to maintain the open position on the guide bar (3). Said spring arrangement is provided with a first spring element (5, 5?) and a second spring element (6, 6?) in relation to the respective moving direction. The spring elements are disposed such that the second spring element (6, 6?) can be impinged upon only following a predetermined spring travel (a) when the closing member (4) is displaced into the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20120048399
Abstract: Provided is a closing body mounted in a valve housing (4), the closing body being designed as a valve plate (9) and maintained in an operating position by a spring load action and/or by the effect of the fluid flow in the valve housing. The valve plate is hinged in the valve housing.

  • Publication number: 20070007484
Abstract: A slide plate (4) with a slide opening (5), which releases an aperture opening is mounted in a slide housing (2) with the aperture opening (3). The slide plate is sealed in each operating position by elastically deformable sealing rings (7a, 7a?, 7b, 7b?) which are arranged in circumferential grooves (6a, 6a?, 6b, 6b?) and, surrounding the aperture opening (3), act on both faces of the slide plate (4). The inner edge (8) of the slide opening (5) is designed such that it tapers towards the center (21) with respect to the wall thickness of the slide plate. This prevents the inner edge from being able to damage the sealing rings, or even to push them out, during movement to the closed position.

  • Patent number: 4194433
Abstract: A breechblock for an automatic firing weapon comprising a breechblock housing having a bore in which there is connected a weapon barrel,a breechblock body is displaceably arranged in the breechblock housing. The breechblock body is equipped with at least one blocking body by means of which the breechblock body can be locked with the breechblock housing. The blocking body bears against a rest or arresting surface of a locking body inserted into the breechblock housing. The locking body is of substantially sleeve-shaped configuration and is equipped at its rear end with a cut-out or notch extending transversely with respect to the lengthwise axis of the weapon, the side walls of which form the arresting surfaces. The locking body is arranged coaxially to the weapon barrel in the aforementioned bore of the breechblock housing, and it bears with its rear end surface at a shoulder of the breechblock housing and at a rear end surface of the weapon barrel.

  • Patent number: 3987701
Abstract: An ammunition conveyor channel for use with an automatic firing weapon and through which channel there can be conveyed belted ammunition to the weapon, comprising an inlet opening through which there can be introduced the ammunition into the ammunition conveyor channel, a first outlet opening through which there can be ejected the ammunition and inserted into the weapon barrel, and a second outlet opening through which there can be ejected the belt elements of the ammunition belt out of the ammunition conveyor channel. The second outlet opening is arranged in a cover member extending transversely with respect to the conveying direction of the ammunition, this cover member being mounted to be pivotable about a pivot shaft arranged externally of the cross-sectional area of the channel so as to be pivoted into an open position enabling removal of the ammunition introduced through the inlet opening and not ejected through the first outlet opening.

  • Patent number: 3973467
Abstract: A cartridge infeed apparatus for an automatic firing weapon comprising a conveyor channel, one side wall of which possesses a slot which is essentially parallel to the axis of the weapon. Partially extending into this slot is a cartridge located in the conveyor channel and which cartridge is to be inserted by the breechblock of the weapon into the weapon barrel. There are further provided two pivotable guide arms which, under the action of spring means, press the cartridge towards the aforementioned slot perpendicular to the direction of conveying of such cartridge. At the side of the guide arms opposite the cartridge there is arranged a pivotable pawl mechanism at which there is present a cam with control surfaces, said cam serving to actuate the pawl mechanism and bearing at a further cartridge located in the cartridge conveying direction behind the first-mentioned cartridge.

  • Patent number: 3969983
Abstract: A breechblock or breechblock arrangement for an automatic firing weapon with a breechblock carrier in which there is rotatably and axially displaceably mounted a substantially cylindrical breechblock body, a control bolt arranged transversely with respect to the breechblock body axis and which penetrates through the breechblock body. Each end of the control bolt is surrounded by a sleeve, both of the sleeves are rotatably mounted in a bore of the breechblock body and penetrate into the control grooves of the breechblock carrier, and holding means or elements fastened to the control bolt to secure the sleeves against axial displacement.
