  • Publication number: 20230418721
Abstract: A method (100) of automated identification of one or more malfunction areas of a set (S) of malfunction areas for a service case in which a medical device (12) is serviced includes: generating an output probability vector (40) of probabilities for the set of malfunction areas of the medical device by operations including applying at least one classifier (42, 46) to at least one of (1) text descriptions of parts ordered for the service case and/or (2) a text description of the service case; and displaying a list (56) of one or more most probable malfunction areas for the service case wherein the one or more most probable malfunction areas are the one or more most malfunction areas of the set of malfunction areas having highest probability in the output probability vector.

  • Publication number: 20230124682
Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium (107, 127) stores a fault-finding tree (130) comprising data related to a maintenance issue of one or more medical imaging devices (120), and instructions readable and executable by at least one electronic processor (101, 113) to: fill in information for nodes (132) of the fault-finding tree which can be completed to identify tasks to be performed for a current service case involving a current medical imaging device; divide the tasks to be performed into a plurality of groups; assign each group to a corresponding service engineer (SE) to perform the tasks in the group; and display, on a display device (105) of a remote electronic processing device (102) operable by the SE, a user interface (UI) (138) showing assignments of the groups to the corresponding SEs.

  • Patent number: 8267927
Abstract: In planning an ablation procedure, a planned target volume (PTV) is imported, which is typically selected by a doctor but may be computer-identified. An ablation solution comprising a plurality of ablation volumes is generated or selected using a lookup table. Ablations sharing a common axis along a line of insertion are grouped into blocks. Alternatively, the PTV is enveloped in a sphere, and a pre-computed ablation solution (e.g., a 6- or 14-sphere solution) is identified to cover the PTV sphere. Optionally, a mathematical algorithm is executed to increase an axis through the ablation spheres to generate ellipsoidal ablation volumes that envelop the PTV.
