  • Patent number: 11946200
Abstract: A stranding machine is provided for producing a cord from a plurality of wires, preferably metal wires. The stranding machine has a stranding device for stranding the wires, including at least one rotatably mounted deflecting roller for deflecting the cord and at least one guide device for guiding the cord. The guide device is arranged in such a way that the cord can be guided on a straight line from the guide device to the deflecting roller in such a way that the cord is pressed against a first flank of the deflecting roller. As the cord is deflected by the deflecting roller, the cord moves from the first flank into the roller base of the deflecting roller.

  • Publication number: 20240093327
Abstract: A continuous annealer for wire is disclosed, and specifically for annealing and recrystallizing a wire in a continuous process. The continuous annealer for wire comprises: two contact discs for contacting a first wire portion extending therebetween; an annealing zone situated between the two contact discs; and annealing means for annealing the first wire portion in the annealing zone, as a result of which a first partial recrystallisation process in the first wire portion takes place in the annealing zone. A recrystallisation zone is situated downstream of the second contact disc, wherein, downstream of the annealing zone, the first wire portion passes through the recrystallisation zone as the second wire portion, and a second partial recrystallisation process takes place in the second wire portion. The wire has the opportunity to recrystallize further after leaving the annealing zone without further heating.

  • Publication number: 20180237988
Abstract: In a first embodiment, the invention relates to a stranding machine for wires having two wrap-around rollers having wrap-around tracks arranged on the circumference thereof, whereby the wire can be guided in such a way that the wire runs through the first and second wrap-around tracks preferably in alternation in preferably 8-shaped or 0-shaped wraps. In a second embodiment, the stranding machine has a winding device for winding the wire onto a reel having a laying device that can be moved along a movement axis parallel to the reel axis and having a plurality of rotatably supported deflecting rollers, whereby the wire can be guided in such a way that the wire runs onto and/or from each of the deflecting rollers substantially in the plane of rotation of the deflecting roller.

  • Patent number: 4149857
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the separation of condensable and absorbable gas components having a critical temperature above 30.degree. C. from a mixture with inert gases, being absorbable at most in a little measure and the proportions of the components of said mixture varying widely, by two-stage absorption and simultaneous compression of the cleaned gas and the separated components to different pressures, in which the varying composition of the gas mixture to be separated is equalized in a first absorption stage so that at least temporarily part of the absorbable components of the mixture is absorbed. The remaining gas mixture is compressed and then introduced into a second absorption stage, wherein are obtained an inert gas mixture largely free from absorbable components and a solution rich in absorbable components, from which the absorbable components of the gas mixture are separated through subsequent multi-stage thermal desorption, the absorbent being fed back into the process.
