  • Publication number: 20020167171
Abstract: The invention relates to a sanitary fitting comprising at least one supply pipe (1, 2) and/or one connecting element (10) for connection to a connecting pipe or a flexible hose, in addition to at least one fitting component (5) with an accommodating opening (3, 4) for the supply pipe (1, 2) or connecting element (10), whereby the supply pipe (1, 2) or the connecting element (10) is provided with a supporting rim (6) which rests against the component (5) and is arranged in the accommodating opening (3, 4) of the component (5) and securely connected thereto (5). In order to connect the supply pipe (1, 2) or connecting element (10) to the component (5) of the sanitary fitting in a simple, economical manner, the supply pipe (1, 2) or connecting element (10, 11) is engaged in the accommodating opening (3, 4) of the component by means of a flange (7) which is located at a specific distance from the supporting rim (6).

  • Patent number: 5937892
Abstract: A sanitary water valve in the form of a single shut-off valve or a mixing valve having one or more operating handles, especially a single-lever mixing valve with water passages and at least one water outlet. A valve body is provided that is made of a metal alloy that contains lead and that serves for receiving control components, especially components integrated into a cartridge. Water inlet lines are connected to the cartridge via an insert that is disposed adjacent to the cartridge. To prevent contact between water flowing through the parts of the valve that are made of brass alloys containing lead, the inner surfaces of the water passages are protected by a water proof protection made of lead-free material that is non-hazardous to health.

  • Patent number: 5730173
Abstract: A valve device is provided, the base of which includes a lower valve seat of a reflux and aerating valve, which is inserted into a hollow space located above the taps. The hollow space is sealed at the bottom and open at the top and/or side. If the valve device has any sealing flaws, the leaking water is collected, and air flows into the valve device via the hollow space if the pressure in the main water supply drops. If any water seeps out of the valve device due to sealing flaws in the valve, water flows from the lower valve seat to the hollow space of the separator wherein it collects and flows out through the opening in the separator. As a result, leakages in the fittings can be detected easily and quickly.
