  • Patent number: 4711182
Abstract: A magnetic suspension for a vehicle, includes a guide rail vertically mounted on a track and an underframe having a magnetic system surrounding lateral sides of the guide rail on which are mounted strips of permanent magnets. The magnetic system of the underframe also comprises strips of permanent magnets installed on the lateral sides of the underframe facing toward the guide rail, the strips of permanent magnets being installed with a spacing equal to the spacing of the strips of the guide rail, and the polarities of pole facets of the strips facing toward one another being different.

  • Patent number: 4564318
Abstract: A gate comprising a body (1) hermetically connected to inlet and outlet branch pipes (2,3) that are arranged coaxially relative to each other and connected to the pipe-line of the pneumatic conveyer. The body (1) accommodates a branch pipe (4) having a cross-section corresponding to the cross-sections of the inlet (2) and outlet (3) branch pipe and kinematically connected to a drive (5) turning it. Rigidly secured to the outer wall of the branch pipe (4) disposed in the body (1) is a damper (6) used to overlap one of the branch pipes (2) connected to the body (1). The damper (6) mounts a ring-like member (7) made from a resilient material. The shape of the member (7) corresponds to the cross-section of the inlet branch pipe (2) to be overlapped. The branch pipe (4) is mounted in the body (1) so that it can swing to a certain extent in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the damper (6) and relative to an axis (8) passing below the longitudinal axis (9) of the inlet (2) and outlet (3) branch pipes.

  • Patent number: 4229946
Abstract: In the plant for collecting and briquetting domestic waste the housing has loading and discharge openings and coaxially accommodates therein a chamber for forming domestic waste into briquettes and a conveyer screw for compacting the domestic waste, operatively connected to a reversible drive. The chamber adjoins the screw and has mounted therein an abutment spanning the cross-sectional area of the chamber. The abutment is mounted in the chamber for motion therein under the action of the domestic waste being formed into a briquette and being advanced by the effort of the rotating conveyer screw. The chamber is operatively connected with a drive for being moved axially to release a briquette that has been formed and for being returned into the initial position.

  • Patent number: 4227451
Abstract: A device for the delivery of bulk materials into the suction pipe of a pneumatic transport installation comprises a vertical pipe designed for charging the bulk material, and a closing element installed on its lower end and placing the charging pipe into communication with the suction pipe of the installation. The closing element comprises a cylindrical shell with a coaxially built in sleeve, the inside diameters of both the shell and the sleeve being approximately equal to the inside diameter of the charging pipe, and a helical band located in said shell. The pitch of the helical band is close to the diameter of the shell and its width at the end facing an under-band portion of the shell is equal to the radius of said shell. The band is connected to said sleeve which is kinematically linked with a reversible drive for joint rotation with it so that, when rotating in one direction, the helical band compacts the bulk material in the under-band portion of the shell until said portion is completely filled.

  • Patent number: 4072109
Abstract: The container according to the invention is intended for pneumatic transportation of loads through a pipeline. The container comprises a body which is provided at the ends with a front cup and a rear cup, said front and rear caps closing the lower and upper halves, respectively, of the gap between the container body and the pipeline. Arranged on the sides of the body are longitudinal cups which rest on guides secured to the internal side wall of the pipeline and serve as sliding supports for the container. Each longitudinal cup is connected with the body by a device mounted on said body and intended for resilient pressing of said cup against the guide and by a partition which seals off the gap between the body and said longitudinal cup and permits the body to move vertically relative to the longitudinal cup.
