    Abstract: Technology is described for enabling a cross-platform media player. The technology can provide a script to be added to a Web page; receive from a client computing device a request for content; identify content to be provided to the client computing device, the identifying based at least on a type of a Web browser from which the request was received; and provide a markup to be added to the Web page. The markup added to the Web page does not cause the Web page to be reloaded. Each URL specifying content can be globally unique.
