Abstract: An egg slicer includes a base having a plurality of ribs for supporting a food item to be sliced. The cutting element formed with a frame and one or more blades extending across the frame may be pressed downward such that it slices through the food item and the one or more blades are received within channels formed between the ribs. Openings formed between sidewalls of the base serve as guides to ensure an axial path of travel of the cutting element. Several different arrangements of channels between the ribs allows for the accommodation of several corresponding different arrangements of blades.

Abstract: A cherry pitter includes a container having a removable cherry holder with a plurality of cavities for holding cherries. A mating plurality of cutters is secured to the lid of the container, which is pivotally secured to the container. By rotating the lid downward the cutters are pushed into and through the cherries, pushing the pits into the container. A spring-loaded push-off plate holds the cherries down against the holder as the lid rotates upward again, separating the cherries from the cutters. These and other examples of the invention will be described in further detail below.

The barrel is positioned for rotation inside the main body, such that cheese within the main body can be urged against the barrel by pressure against the resilient material, which will collapse as the food item decreases in size.

Abstract: A pizza wheel includes a handle that is configured to fold or unfold into a variety of configurations. In a stowed, two handle halves are positioned upright, parallel to a plane defined by a cutting wheel. In a deployed position, the handle halves are rotated apart from one another to positions about 90 degrees from the original stowed position.

Abstract: A fruit or vegetable peeler includes a handle with a blade, in which the peeler is shaped such that a first peeler can nest with or be secured to a second peeler. In some versions, the peeler includes a magnet secured to the peeler such that a first peeler is magnetically attracted to a second peeler having a similar attached magnet.

Abstract: A ball includes a body having an outer surface. A chamber is disposed within the body and has a concave curvature in at least two orthogonal directions. An aperture defines a fluid connection between the chamber and the outer surface of the ball. Air flow across the aperture produces a whistling sound.
