    Abstract: A water reservoir for use with a medical treatment apparatus includes a reservoir base including a cavity structured to hold a volume of water to humidify a supply of pressurized breathable air. The reservoir base includes a heat conductive portion, wherein the heat conductive portion is configured to thermally engage with a heating assembly of a water reservoir dock associated with the medical treatment apparatus to allow thermal transfer of heat from the heating assembly to the heat conductive portion. The water reservoir includes at least one protrusion that protrudes outwardly from a side of the reservoir base, wherein the at least one protrusion is configured to be fully inserted into at least one slot on a side of the water reservoir dock, and wherein the at least one protrusion only extends partially along the side of the reservoir base.

    Abstract: A patient interface includes a hollow base with an air inlet configured to receive the pressurized flow of respiratory gas in a first direction. The hollow base further includes a pair of air outlets configured to discharge the pressurized flow of respiratory gas in a second direction that is substantially parallel to the first direction. The patient interface also includes a pair of nasal posts. Each nasal post is removably connected to a respective air outlet of the hollow base and is configured to sealingly engage one of the patient's nostrils. In addition, the patient interface includes an adhesive support configured to support the hollow base and nasal posts on the patient's face. The adhesive support is configured to adhere to the patient's nose. An end of each nasal post comprises a ring configured to interlock with the respective air outlet to secure the nasal post with the air outlet.

    Abstract: A patient interface assembly includes a flexible cushion with a nares sealing portion configured to sealingly engage the patient's nares and a mouth sealing portion configured to seal around the patient's mouth. A cushion clip is attached to the flexible cushion, forms at least part of a plenum chamber with the flexible cushion, and is more rigid than the flexible cushion. A frame is attached to the cushion clip, is more rigid than the flexible cushion. A superior portion of the frame extends beyond the mouth sealing portion in the superior direction to overlap at least a part of the pair of lateral nares engagement portions of the nares sealing portion. At least a part of the nares sealing portion of the flexible cushion is decoupled from both the cushion clip and the superior portion of the frame that overlaps the nares sealing portion so that the lateral nares engagement portions are movable independently of the frame and the cushion clip.
