  • Publication number: 20160300200
Abstract: A system and method is provided to create and use a virtual personal electronic currency. The system provides a platform and graphical user interface (GUI) that allows a user to create their own personal version(s) of digital currency that is referred to hereinafter as a “koin”, to hold, share, or trade with others. The koin is backed by the fiat of the creator, and is not traded on an open market, but rather between friends, families, groups, and organizations seeking a way to denote accomplishments or the exchange of goods and services.
