  • Patent number: 11964277
Abstract: A metered volume microfluidic device can include fluid flow microfluidics. The fluid flow microfluidics can include an inflow channel, a metered volume chamber positioned to receive working fluid from the inflow channel, a metered volume outflow channel positioned to receive and direct a metered volume of the working fluid when discharged from the metered volume chamber, and a capillary check valve. The capillary check valve can allow excess working fluid to exit the metered volume chamber when filling the metered volume chamber via the inflow channel. The capillary check valve can also prevent excess working fluid that has passed there through from being reintroduced into the metered volume chamber when the working fluid is discharged into the metered volume outflow channel.

  • Publication number: 20240054586
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated real estate property matching across disparate data sources are disclosed. A method may include: retrieving first property data and second property data; normalizing the first property data and the second property data; executing a first phase of a configurable systemic multi-step matching process to match a property in the first property data to the property in the second property data, the first phase outputting a first score; executing a second phase of the configurable systemic multi-step matching process, the second phase outputting a second score; determining that the first score to the second score are within a predetermined amount indicating an exact match; populating an entry in a unified property database with matching data from the first property data and the second property data; and storing the entry for the property in the unified property database.

  • Patent number: 10006858
Abstract: A portable environment quality monitor having an enclosure to enclose and protect the monitor from an environment and for attaching to a user's clothing or jewelry. The enclosure includes a controlled airflow intake for receiving air from the environment in which the monitor is worn for forming an airflow sampling path and for laminarizing the airflow in the sampling path. A sensor, having a sensing region that directs the laminar airflow into the sensing region. A processor is connected to a light scattering aerosol spectrometer (LSAS) that is configured to receive, process and translate photodiode current peaks into particle counts and sizes detected in the air. The processor is also coupled to a memory for storing data corresponding to the particle counts and sizes detected in the environment. The processor further includes an interface to communicate with a host for allowing a user to monitor and track environment conditions.

  • Patent number: 9995667
Abstract: A portable ambient air quality monitor having an enclosure to enclose and protect the monitor from an ambient environment and an airflow intake for controllably allowing ambient air to enter the monitor. A photodiode is disposed at a location downstream from a fan. The airflow from the fan is laminarized by a mesh or baffle to allow a thin stream of air to flow over the photodiode. A sensing region is defined by an intersection of an airflow sampling path and an optical path. The sensing region is also disposed above the photodiode. The airflow sampling path is configured to receive laminar airflow from the airflow intake and for directing the laminar airflow into the sensing region. A light beam is generated from a laser to reflect the light beam for reducing the required area of the sensing region to detect and measure the particles floating in the ambient air.

  • Patent number: 9818161
Abstract: A mobile device operating system level routine obtains social network access parameters that allow access to one or more social network accounts of a user of the device. The access parameters are stored in operating system level memory of the mobile device. Through an operating system interface of the mobile device, a user can create a social network message to be communicated via the one or more social network accounts using the stored access parameters. A single social network message may be communicated via multiple social network accounts with multiple social network platforms. The uniform operating system interface allows a user to communicate messages via multiple social network accounts without using multiple user level applications.
