Patent number: 11997181Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for a device arrangement to derive unknown portions of a communication data scheme. A proxy node is established in a communication path between two nodes configured to transmit communications according to a communication bus standard. The communication data included in the communications transmitted between the nodes conforms to a communication data scheme. The proxy node logs communications transmitted between the nodes via the communication path, resulting in a communication log. The communication log can then be used to derive unknown portion of the communication data scheme, such as commands for requesting specified data types and the data format for transmitting data of specified data types.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2023Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Samsara Inc.Inventors: Harrison Riley Davis, Elias Ray Dykaar, Maxwell Anton Dergosits, Ingo Gerhard Wiegand, Justin Joel Delegard

Publication number: 20240134876Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods are disclosed for importing data from electronic data files. In accordance with some embodiments, a file format is assigned to a source electronic data files by a data importation system. The data importation system may further identify a file type identifier associated with the source electronic data file and map the source electronic data file to a transformation template. The data importation system may further store the file format, file type identifier, and an indication of the transformation template as a file type profile associated with the source electronic data file in a database.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Stephen Yazicioglu, Christopher Luck, Robert Giardina, Justin Streufert, Timothy Slatcher, Gregory O'Connor, Brandon Marc-Aurele, Olivia Zhu, Howard Schindel, Henry Tung, Lucas Ray, Christopher Leech, Eric Jeney, Stefan Negrus, Jason Lee, Alessandro Mingione, John McKinstry Doyle, Hunter Pitelka, Ethan Lozano, Joel Ossher, Matthew Fedderly

Patent number: 11955028Abstract: An environment-transforming system transforms a user's environmental information in ways that allow the user to better perceive her environment. For example, the system transforms some aspects of a visual scene into a sound space for a visually impaired user. Once the user learns to interpret the sound space, she avoids walking into an object because a sound cue tells her that the object is in her near environment and roughly where it is. Various types of transformations are possible depending upon the user's needs and preferences. As all people are different, each user has a personalized profile that directs the transformation process. More generally, the environment to be transformed may include aspects of artificial or enhanced reality. The transformed environmental information can be presented to the user in a number of ways, such as in haptic feedback, as directional audio, through oral stimulation, or through modified visual display.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Justin Royell Nash, Ivan Ortiz, Austin Ray Keeton, Subhalakshmi Selvam, Fang Yuan Gonzalez, Huihui Wu, Salvador Adrian Bretado

Patent number: 11238688Abstract: An intelligent cash drawer unit or cash register is operable to process signals from load cells beneath note/coin cups when the drawer is open. It then determines the weight/value of cash in the cups, in order to either (a) detect an accurate weight in a cup comprising a poorly placed note, or (b) allow a float to be added, or a lift to be made, stepwise, whilst the drawer remains open. An intelligent cash drawer unit or cash register is also described which can detect a poorly placed note, by either (a) comparing signals from the load cells when the drawer is open, and when the drawer is closed or (b) monitoring stable readings, over a predetermined period when the drawer is closed and comparing the monitored values and where the apparent weight determined by the transducer appears to reduce by more than a predetermined amount, determining that a note is poorly placed.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2017Date of Patent: February 1, 2022Assignee: Tellermate LimitedInventors: Mark Bernhardt, Gerard Nicholas Schoen, Gareth Ross Jones, Justin Ray

Patent number: 11161006Abstract: A tandem sit-up device is provided. The tandem sit-up device has two support frameworks pivotably interconnected by a pivot bar so that the device moves between a flat, operable condition and a folded, storage condition. A distal end of the support framework may provide a seat portion. The pivot bar may provide an inner disc and outer disc rotatable relative to each other for moving between the operable and storage conditions. Each disc type provides a pair of arms for a proximal end of each support framework to selectively attach to so that a distance between the associated seat portion and a foot strap supported by the pair of arms.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2020Date of Patent: November 2, 2021Inventor: Justin Ray Dean

Patent number: 6082049Abstract: A metal door frame reinforcing apparatus is of "U" shape and is attached to the inside of the door frame so as to enclosed that section of the door frame within the "U" shape and thus direct any striking forces toward that section of the wood that is enclosed by the apparatus thus increasing the amount of wood that must be broken in order to force the door. The apparatus has a main section and two side flanges that are connected to the inside and outside panels of the door frame and thus enclose the door jamb area of the door frame within the flanges. There is a hole in the main section for the placement of the dead bolt.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 1997Date of Patent: July 4, 2000Inventor: Justin Ray Hudson
