  • Patent number: 11927457
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle having sensors advantageously varied in capabilities, advantageously positioned, and advantageously impervious to environmental conditions. A system executing on the autonomous vehicle that can receive a map including, for example, substantially discontinuous surface features along with data from the sensors, create an occupancy grid based upon the map and the data, and change the configuration of the autonomous vehicle based upon the type of surface on which the autonomous vehicle navigates. The device can safely navigate surfaces and surface features, including traversing discontinuous surfaces and other obstacles.

  • Patent number: 10717472
Abstract: A floor structure is assembled from a plurality of extruded aluminum planks that extend laterally across the bed of a truck floor positioned on an undercarriage of a center beam and cross beams. The planks each have one or more ribs on their underside to strengthen the floor structure and provide a mechanical means for connecting adjacent planks together. Each plank is configured with a female end rib and a male end rib that interlock to restrain movement relative the adjacent planks in all directions except the lateral direction. Side rails are attached to the floor structure at the edges of the plank bed to prevent movement of the planks in the lateral direction.

  • Publication number: 20200156548
Abstract: A vehicle-mounted reconfigurable storage tray removably installed between two fixed storage cabinet walls in either a tray position or a shelf position. The storage tray includes right and left side panels and a bottom panel that has a tray surface on one side and a shelf surface on the other side. Mounting mechanisms are attached to each side panel, allowing the storage tray to be removably mounted on the inner walls of a storage cabinet.

  • Patent number: 10513228
Abstract: A self fixturing sidepack cabinet for a utility truck body has right and left doorjamb components that are positioned to the right and left of the cabinet door in the closed position. The door closes against door stop components positioned around the doorjamb, and extending inward. The door stop components may have a flexible edging component fitted on them around the doorway. The top door stop component extends from an upper door frame component configured with tabs bent 90 degrees from the door stop surface. The tabs slide behind the left and right doorjamb components to ensure the top of the door opening is dimensionally correct and installed at the proper angles.
