Abstract: In a sun room awning comprising a roll bar for rolling up an awning sheet under formation of a sheet roll and lateral guide rails for guiding the awning sheet while it is being extended, provision is made, to attain a drop-out range, to implement new awning configurations and to avoid the shortcomings of conventional pull systems, for the awning sheet to have push straps with an inherent stiffness in the direction of extension that can be rolled up together with the awning sheet.

Abstract: In an articulated-arm awning comprising two brackets for supporting the winding shaft and articulated arms, as well as a device for adjusting the slope of the articulated arms, also side faces disposed on both sides of the winding shaft, provision is made for the side faces to be fixed on the outside of the brackets, and for each articulated arm to be connected in an articulated fashion to the inside of one side face, and for the winding shaft to be supported on the brackets.

Abstract: With regard to a fabric comprising openings, it is provided that said openings are created afterwards by perforation including the cutting of fabric threads, e.g. by punching or laser welding of the fabric threads, e.g. by means of needles, and, if necessary, the stabilization of the cut or displaced fabric threads.

Abstract: In a sun room awning, comprising a rotating-drivable roll bar with an awning cloth, lateral guide rails for the awning cloth, and tensioning straps as well as tautening means for the awning cloth that engage at the front end of the awning cloth or at a drop-out rail, it is provided that the tensioning straps are designed elastic in the longitudinal direction, at least in sections, to exert tension onto the awning cloth in order to achieve a construction ensuring a taut, visually attractive fit regardless of the extended position of the awning cloth.

Abstract: In a joint-arm awning comprising two joint arms disposed on a support pipe, it being possible by fastening brackets to join the support pipe to the wall of a housing, and devices being provided for adjustment of the angle of inclination of the awning in order to constructionally simplify the adjustment of the angle of inclination and obtain defined retraction conditions regardless of the adjusted angle of inclination, that the support pipe is substantially round, having a longitudinal groove, with which engages a locking element for adjustment of the angle of inclination.
