  • Publication number: 20100289781
Abstract: A display apparatus is provided in which an image processing unit and a timing control unit are disposed on a single board, and in which a compensation unit and a converter unit are disposed in a driving unit, the compensation unit compensating distortion of a signal, and the converter unit converting an interface. Accordingly, a manufacturer of the display apparatus can dispose a timing control IC on an image board and eliminate a timing control board.

  • Publication number: 20070014253
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of searching a wireless channel by searching unused wireless channels. A list of the searched unused wireless channels is stored. A multimedia signal transmitted and received through one of the unused wireless channels. Thus, a wireless channel searching method, a wireless transmitting/receiving system and a wireless transmitting apparatus of the present invention, quickly change a wireless transmitting channel into other usable channels, if interference occurs in a wireless transmitting channel.

  • Patent number: 6067123
Abstract: A monitor output device in an HDTV. The monitor device includes an HD decoder, a format converter, an HD/NTSC converter, and luminance and color output terminals for monitor output. The HD decoder decodes an HD signal of an HDTV broadcast which has been channel-selected and converted to a baseband signal, and outputs an HD video signal. The format converter converts the HD video signal of the HD decoder to an output color signal of a predetermined display type. The HD/NTSC converter converts the output color signal of the format converter to analog NTSC luminance and color signals, and outputs the luminance and color signals to the luminance output terminal and the color output terminal, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5920339
Abstract: A spot killer circuit for a CRT is capable of thoroughly removing any spot persistence and prevents damage to the fluorescent body of the CRT due to inaccurate horizontal and vertical deflection. When the power cord is unplugged, or when the display device is turned off (for example, via remote control key input), the bias voltage of the first grid G1 and the electric potential of the cathode are controlled so as to completely suppress any residual beam current flowing in the CRT. In the case of an inaccuracy (such as total failure) in either the horizontal deflection or the vertical deflection signals, the bias voltage of the first grid and the electric potential of the cathode are controlled to suppress the CRT beam current just as in the case of power shut off. This prevents damage of the fluorescent body in the CRT due to the inaccurate deflection operation.

  • Patent number: 5555026
Abstract: A video state stabilization apparatus for use in a video display unit for displaying a sub-picture within a main picture. The video state stabilization apparatus receives a main picture ABL control signal, and has a sub-picture beam current detector for generating a sub-picture ABL control signal by receiving a sub-video signal, and using an integrator and a differential amplifier, a switching portion for outputting the sub-picture ABL control signal and the main picture ABL control signal in response to a respective interval of the sub-picture and the main picture, and an adjuster for separately adjusting a brightness of a video signal of the main picture and of the subpicture, so as to make a PIP image with respect to the main picture and the sub-picture according to the ABL control signals output from the switching portions.
