  • Publication number: 20190392370
Abstract: Disclosed herein are smart locker vehicle devices and systems and methods for operating smart locker vehicle devices, and interacting with smart locker vehicle devices. In an embodiment, a system is disclosed that comprises a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory, wherein the computer executable components comprise a transmission component and a locking component. In an aspect, a transmission component transmits data representing a code or identity authentication information to a set of storage compartments electrically coupled to a vehicle. In another aspect, a locking component is configured to unlock or lock one or more door associated with the set of storage compartments based on the transmitted data.

  • Publication number: 20170339664
Abstract: The disclosure includes facilitating transmission of event based notifications to devices. As an example, a method comprises generating, by a system operatively coupled to a processor, a set of event data based on an occurrence of one or more event; and transmitting, by the system, a subset of event data to an application executing on a second device. The method can further comprise a second subset of event data based on a help button of the first device being triggered, wherein the second subset of event data is configured to notify the application executing on the second device of the help button being triggered. The method can comprise generating a third subset of event data based on a sensor of the first device being triggered, wherein the third subset of event data is configured to notify the application executing on the second device of the sensor being triggered.

  • Publication number: 20130300551
Abstract: An object proximity alert system for an object network includes an object module having a data processing unit; a GPS unit; and a transceiver, the latter both connected to the data processing unit. A first object in the network has the module, such that the data processing unit obtains first object position data from the GPS unit, calculates the speed of the object, and transmits position data using the transceiver to other network objects, the data processing unit calculates the respective positions of the first object with the objects in the network based on the data, and compares the position data against a preset target separation between the first object and the other objects. In the event a separation distance between the first object and another object in the network is less than the target separation, the data processing unit generates an alarm in at least the first object.

  • Publication number: 20030151507
Abstract: The present invention is a vehicle security system that provides remote tracking and monitoring of the vehicle. The security system is equipped with a control and intelligence unit, a position determining device and a plurality of intrusion detection devices. The control and intelligence unit processes information from the position determining device with the help of a in-built mapping device to obtain geographic information of the vehicle in the form of name of place, street etc. The geographic information and the information regarding any violation of intrusion detection devices may be converted to synthesized speech using a text to speech system. The text to speech system converts the speech to a language desired by the user. The synthesized speech is transmitted to the user's communication device over an existing communication network.
