Abstract: A load sensing and lift cylinder adjusting system for a three-point linkage arrangement on a tractor, which includes; a control system and load setting system; a load sensing system in the form of a load sensing proportional valve in fluid connection with the lift cylinder; a load adjusting system which includes a load sense pump connected to the load sensing proportional valve and the tractor's hydraulic oil supply; the load sensing system monitors load on the lift cylinder via oil pressure from within the lift cylinder and if the load drops from the pre-set load this sends a signal to the load adjusting system which diverts oil from a hydraulic oil supply to the lift cylinder to maintain the pre-set load; if the pre-set load is exceeded a signal is sent to the load adjusting system which diverts oil from the lift cylinder back to the tractor's hydraulic oil supply.

Abstract: An apparatus for transferring load between: a) a towing vehicle having front and rear wheels which comprises a tow assembly including a tow bar; and b) a towed device which includes a drawbar; wherein the tow bar and drawbar attach to one another, the apparatus including a shock absorber; and a load transfer mechanism configured for adjustably transferring at least a portion of the load of the towed implement to the front of the vehicle in a region leading the front wheel axle via the shock absorber.

Abstract: An apparatus for transferring load between: (a) towing tractor which includes: (i) a three-point linkage which includes three linkage arms, and associated hydraulic draft control system; and (ii) a tow-bar; and (b) a towed above ground implement which includes a draw-bar which attaches to the tow-bar of the tractor; characterized in that the apparatus includes a shock absorber which is: (iii) connected at one end thereof to at least the two lower arms of the three-point linkage; and (iv) at the other end thereof connected to the draw-bar of the towed implement in a manner that allows the draft control system of the tractor to be activated so as to transfer load between the tractor and the implement, as is required to maintain the desired wheel slippage of the traction axle of the tractor while towing the implement.
